Founded in 2020, Radiant is under contract to deliver power to the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force and has signed pre-order agreements with Equinix, with deployments beginning in 2028.\nAbout the Role\nRadiant is seeking a Site Lead to own site readiness, transport, installation and startup coordination for our microreactor deliveries. You will make sure the site, the customer and the delivery team are aligned so that each unit arrives at a prepared site and starts up successfully. You will work closely with Engineering, Program Management, Regulatory, Production, and will report to the Director of Mission Success. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience, is comfortable with logistics and heavy transport, and can work with customers on their own sites, including DoD installations.\nResponsibilities & Duties:\nSite Readiness: Develop and own the site readiness plan and report its status to required teams.\n\nRequirements & Interfaces: Gather site requirements and design interfaces from Engineering and confirm they are met on site.\n\nCustomer Coordination: Coordinate site access and constraints with the customer.\n\nTransport & Installation: Plan and coordinate transport, installation and setup of the reactor system at the customer site.\n\nRegulatory Conditions: Make sure site activities meet programmatic conditions set by applicable regulations.\n\nProduction Alignment: Coordinate site timing with Production’s completion dates.\n\nSchedule Input: Provide site milestones to the scheduling team and flag slips early.\n\nStartup & Acceptance: Coordinate startup, commissioning and customer acceptance.\n\nSafety & Permitting: Make sure site work meets safety and permitting requirements.\n\nDeliverables:\nSite readiness plan; ongoing regular status updates.\n\nSite milestones in the integrated schedule.\n\nCompleted transport, installation and startup at each customer site.\n\nCoordinated startup and acceptance with the customer.\n\nSite-level risks documented and shared for the non-technical Risk Register.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n8+ years of field, construction or operations management experience.\n\nExperience with logistics and heavy transport.\n\nKnowledge of site safety and permitting requirements.\n\nExperience coordinating with customers on their sites.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills in the field.\n\nDesired Qualifications & Skills:\nExperience managing a complex construction project from start to finish.\n\nExperience working on DoD installations.\n\nExperience in nuclear or other regulated industries.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\nMust be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.\n\nMust be willing to travel 40% or more of total weeks in the year; most travel will be consolidated around reactor delivery and testing\n\nMust work onsite at El Segundo HQ whenever not traveling.\n\nBenefits and Perks\nStock: Substantial incentive stock plan for all full-time employees.\n\nMedical: 100% up to base silver level plan for employee + 50% dependents, offers up to Platinum plans.\n\nOne Medical: Sponsored memberships for employees and their dependents.\n\nVision: 100% top tier plan coverage + 50% for dependents.\n\nDental: 100% top tier plan coverage, orthodontia extra, 50% for dependents.\n\nVoluntary life, accident, hospital, critical illness, commuter and FSA/HSA are offered as employee contributed benefits.\n\n8-weeks of paid parental leave for all parents.
