At Radio Flyer we live by the Little Red Rule, “Every time we touch people’s lives, they will feel FUNomenal!”\nVery important - all resumes must be accompanied by sample portfolios in PDF format or include links to online portfolios to be considered for this position.\nOpportunity:\nAs the Electrical Engineering Intern, working with the Product Development and Product Quality teams, your specific responsibilities will include:\nDevelop unique electromechanical solutions to solve product design challenges.\nBuild prototypes for electrical drive trains, electronic modules, and other electromechanical assemblies to prove function and performance. \nParticipate in product testing and brainstorming of prototypes to aid the design process.\nSupport the Product Development Engineers and Designers by providing proof of concept prototypes, BOM’s for electrical assemblies, and process maps.\nBuild custom webapp’s and dashboard tools by coding with the use of AI tools. \nCommunicate with other engineers both in the U.S. and overseas through emails and conference calls.\nQualifications:\nThe ideal candidate will be a junior or senior, majoring in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Electromechanics.\n3.0 GPA or higher.\nExperience with analog circuit design and testing, electromechanical sensors and actuators, motors and motor controls.\nExperience with integrated software development and proficiency with Arduino, Phython and C++.\nExperience coding with the support of AI tools to build dashboards and web applications.\nExperience with SolidWorks CAD modeling.\nPage Break\nAbove all, the individual must commit to our values:\nFUNatical Customer Service\nLive with Integrity\nYes I Can\nExcellence in Everything\nResponsible for Success\nWe are looking for people who live our values and support our vision and mission!\nQualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran status, or disability.\nThe pay range per hour is $21.00 - $26.00.
