Client Services Manager (up to £40,000)

About the role

The Client Services Manager (CSM) manages a portfolio of medium-sized commercial partnerships, delivering exceptional client service from campaign briefing through to post-campaign analysis. Working closely with Sales and internal delivery teams, the CSM is responsible for building strong client relationships, delivering campaigns efficiently, identifying opportunities for future growth and continually improving the client experience.

As a Client Services Manager, you will;

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned campaigns and partnerships, managing day-to-day communication and building trusted relationships with clients and agencies.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships through meetings, immersion sessions and hot-desking.
  • Demonstrate a client-centric mindset with a strong understanding of clients' business objectives, challenges and opportunities.
  • Support senior team members in developing strategic client relationships and identifying opportunities for future growth.
  • Contribute to client brainstorms and campaign ideation sessions, building confidence to participate and lead ideation / previous client experience conversations within the brainstorm
  • Partner with Sales throughout the campaign lifecycle, contributing delivery expertise, campaign insight and commercial recommendations to support pitches, renewals and client growth.
  • Manage the seamless execution of campaigns, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations while monitoring timelines, budgets and campaign performance.
  • Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of different clients, stakeholders and campaign touchpoints.
  • Lead campaign wash-ups and Post Campaign Analyses, ensuring learnings are captured and shared with relevant stakeholders and the CSD.
  • Identify campaign risks early, implementing mitigation plans and escalating to HCS where appropriate.
  • Keep stakeholders informed throughout campaign delivery, proactively managing expectations and communicating changes.
  • Take ownership of campaign P&Ls where appropriate, working with Senior Client Services Managers and HCS for support when required.
  • Monitor campaign profitability throughout delivery and communicate key commercial insights during campaign wash-ups.
  • Develop an understanding of production costs during media plan reviews, helping to ensure campaigns are commercially viable before booking.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing across assigned campaigns.
  • Assess campaign performance, client feedback and PCA insights to identify renewal, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Support Sales with renewal conversations by providing campaign insights and recommendations.
  • Use campaign learnings to improve future partnerships and client outcomes.
  • Build strong working relationships across Sales, Studio, Editorial, Social, Ad Ops, Events, Insight and wider teams to deliver campaigns effectively.
  • Maintain an understanding of upcoming editorial themes, opportunities and developments to support client recommendations.
  • Share campaign learnings and best practice with the wider Client Services team.
  • Analyse campaign delivery and performance, providing recommendations to optimise results during and after campaigns.
  • Thoroughly review campaign reporting, ensuring delivery remains aligned to client objectives and expectations.
  • Present campaign insights clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, documentation and ways of working, proactively suggesting solutions that improve efficiency and the client experience.
  • Contribute to embedding best practice across the Client Services team.

  • Use AI tools and emerging technologies to improve personal efficiency, reduce administrative tasks and enhance campaign delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and proactively share ideas that improve team efficiency and the client experience.
  • Embrace new technologies and support the adoption of AI tools across the Client Services team where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Experience in agency / campaign / partnership delivery
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across multiple departments.
  • Client-focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Commercially aware, with an interest in understanding campaign profitability and client growth.
