We are looking for someone with a strong service mindset who always puts the guest first.\nMain Responsibilities\nEnsure all technical equipment is properly prepared and set up in conference areas.\nService and maintenance of all AV equipment.\nParticipate in the planning and execution of conferences and events.\nSupport and assist in the smooth running of the property maintenance department, where the property is maintained to the highest level whilst ensuring that maintenance and company standards are adhered to.\nTakes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.\nCollaborate with colleagues to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.\nSupport and deliver on the strategies and objectives of the property maintenance department taking ownership for assigned areas of responsibility.\nDevelops and builds own skills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within property maintenance department, which aligns with the culture of growth, development and performance expected by the company. \nCollaborates with the Head of Department, ensuring that departmental inventory is maintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performance levels are attained\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships, communicating with key stakeholders whilst promoting the company culture and values.\nEnsures adherence to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required\nCompetencies & skills\nExperience in property maintenance\nPro-active with a hands-on approach\nPassion for the hospitality industry\nAbility to manage work ensuring that tasks assigned are delivered\nAbility to find creative solutions, offering recommendations \nPersonal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence\nStrong communication and listening skills\nAbility to work collaboratively at all levels within the department\nAn open and positive personality\nAbility to handle challenging priorities and assignments\nQualifications\nWe require experience within AV technology, including:\nAudio.\nLighting.\nVideo.\nIT.\nAs an AV Technician, you should quickly understand clients' needs and wishes and be able to provide the best technical solution for each event organizer. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible, and proactive.
