Apply now for:\nFinancial Controller\nAt Radisson Blu Hotel Ajman, we are looking for an experienced and highly organized Financial Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, effective budgeting and forecasting, and compliance with company policies and UAE statutory requirements.\nThe ideal candidate should have solid hotel finance experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with the General Manager and department heads to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nFinancial Management & Reporting\n\nOversee the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel.\nEnsure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.\nReview financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.\nMonitor hotel revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.\nProvide financial insights and recommendations to management to support business decisions.\nEnsure proper accounting of revenue, receivables, payables, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger transactions.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\n\nLead the preparation of the annual hotel budget in coordination with the General Manager and department heads.\nPrepare periodic forecasts and monitor actual performance against budget.\nAnalyze variances and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport the management team in developing financial strategies and cost-saving initiatives.\nInternal Controls & Compliance\n\nEstablish and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE laws and regulations.\nMonitor cash handling, banking transactions, purchasing, inventory, and payment processes.\nEnsure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.\nIdentify financial risks and implement appropriate control measures.\nHotel Revenue & Cost Control\n\nOversee daily revenue audit and ensure all hotel revenue is properly recorded.\nMonitor food and beverage costs, payroll costs, operating expenses, and other departmental expenses.\nReview inventory controls and conduct regular checks of stock and consumption.\nWork closely with Operations and Procurement to improve cost efficiency.\nMonitor accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.\nAudit & Tax\n\nCoordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.\nLiaise with auditors, banks, insurance providers, and other financial institutions when required.\nEnsure compliance with UAE VAT requirements and other applicable statutory obligations.\nMaintain proper financial records and supporting documentation.\nLeadership & Team Management\n\nLead, supervise, and develop the Finance team.\nEstablish clear objectives and performance standards for Finance colleagues.\nProvide coaching and training to improve team capability and productivity.\nPromote a strong culture of accountability, accuracy, confidentiality, and financial control.\nBusiness Partnership\n\nWork closely with the General Manager to improve hotel profitability.\nProvide financial guidance to department heads and operational leaders.\nParticipate in commercial and operational decision-making.\nIdentify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall financial performance.\n Your Profile & Skills\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nProfessional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred.\nMinimum 5-8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry.\nPrevious experience in a Financial Controller / Assistant Financial Controller / Finance Manager role in a hotel is highly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of hotel accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\nGood knowledge of UAE VAT and applicable financial regulations.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent command of written and spoken English.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial/accounting systems.\nExperience with hotel PMS, POS, and accounting systems is an advantage.\n Why Join Radisson Hotel Group?\nLive the Magic of Hospitality - Be part of a team that creates exceptional experiences and memorable moments every day.
