Together, we make Every Moment Matter.\n Role purpose:\nThe Senior MuleSoft Developer is responsible for the design, delivery, and operational ownership of enterprise integration solutions that underpin Radisson Hotel Group’s core business platforms.\nThe role exists to ensure that integrations are robust, scalable, secure, observable, and production-ready, with particular accountability for MuleSoft development, event-driven integrations using Solace PubSub+, and the ownership of logging and monitoring platforms (OpenSearch and Grafana).\nExpected outcomes:\nStable, reusable, and well-governed MuleSoft integrations\nReliable event-driven architectures supporting business-critical flows\nFull operational visibility through owned logging and dashboards\nReduced operational risk through strong engineering quality and observability\nRoles/Responsibilities:\nIntegration Design & Development\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy APIs and integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.\nApply API-led connectivity patterns (System, Process, Experience layers).\nDevelop complex DataWeave transformations and robust error-handling strategies.\nContribute to integration standards, reusable assets, and best practices.\nEvent-Driven Architecture\nDesign and implement event-driven integrations using Solace PubSub+ as the primary messaging and event platform.\nApply enterprise messaging patterns including retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, and fault tolerance.\nApply experience with other event or streaming platforms (for example Apache Kafka) where relevant.\nAPI Documentation & Governance\nDefine, maintain, and publish API specifications using Swagger / OpenAPI.\nEnsure APIs are documented, versioned, discoverable, and aligned with RHG API standards.\nSupport API lifecycle governance, including versioning and deprecation.\nObservability, Logging & Dashboards (Platform Ownership)\nImplementing logging strategy using OpenTelemetry.\nDeploy, maintain, and own OpenSearch for centralized logging and traceability across integrations.\nDeploy, maintain, and own Grafana for dashboards, alerting, and operational monitoring.\nBuild dashboards covering integration health, throughput, latency, and error rates.\nUse telemetry and logs to proactively identify risks and support root-cause analysis.\nEnterprise Systems Integration\nDesign and support integrations with enterprise systems, including SAP via MuleSoft connectors.\nCollaborate with Enterprise Architecture, SAP, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure aligned solutions.\nPlatform Support & Quality\nParticipate in P1/P2 incident resolution and post-incident reviews.\nEnsure integrations meet security, data protection, and compliance requirements.\nApply secure coding practices and support audit and regulatory needs.\n Job requirements and qualifications:\nLocation:\n· Madrid, Spain\nLanguage skills:\n· Professional proficiency in English is required.\nMandatory Technical Skills\n· MuleSoft Certification required (Developer or Integration Architect).\n· 4-5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience in an enterprise or mission-critical environment.\n· Strong proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including:\n· Experience with build/deployment pipelines, e.g. Azure DevOps.\n· Proven experience with event-driven integration using Solace PubSub+.\n· Proven experience to deploy, maintain, and own OpenSearch for logging and traceability.\n· Proven experience to deploy, maintain, and own Grafana dashboards and alerting.\n· Hands-on experience with API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI.\nAdditional / Advantageous Experience:\n· Experience with other event or streaming platforms (for example Apache Kafka).\n· SAP integration experience (SAP CPI or SAP via MuleSoft connectors).\n· Experience with automation and file-based integrations (MoveIT, Couchdrop, SFTP).\n· Familiarity with Maven, Git/GitHub, and Linux environments\nProfessional & Behavioral Competencies:\n· Senior-level problem-solving and analytical skills.\n· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.\n· High attention to quality, resilience, security, and operational impact.\n· Clear technical communication and documentation skills.\n· Strong collaboration skills across architecture, security, and infrastructure teams.\nEducation:\n· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.\n· MuleSoft certification is mandatory for this role.\nThe description of functions is merely indicative and not exhaustive.
