In this role you will be supporting our Quality Manager, determining acceptance and rejection criteria via our Quality Management System. We are an Aerospace and Recuperator manufacturing plant that specializes in Welding, Forming, CNC, Laser Cutting, and Processing that requires understanding of inspection techniques of CMM, FPI, and various other dimensional inspections. You'll be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nResponsible for the training and effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100.\nResponsible for \"hands on\" product quality and Quality Metrics Database.\nWrites procedures and makes recommendations regarding the Material Review Board (MRB) disposition of Incoming and Work in Process (WIP) materials.\nMaintains process approvals for NADCAP certifications.\nCoordinates implementation of customer quality requirements for new product launch. Interfaces with suppliers/customers as required.\nCoordinates all customer audit findings, and internal Root Cause and Corrective action (RCCA) and improvement plans.\nAnalyze non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.\nParticipates actively in the MRB team disposition of incoming, WIP and customer returns rejection tags as required.\nParticipates in the Internal Auditing Team.\nMust be able to review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).\nRead and interpret customer material, drawings and process specifications.\nReport to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.\nOther various duties as needed or as assigned.\nQualifications:\nTypically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or engineering discipline and a minimum of 2 years’ related work experience, or the overall equivalent experience.\nWorking knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and AS9102.\nExperience with NADCAP.\nMust have experience with primary Aerospace OEMs such as but not limited to Rolls-Royce, GE Aerospace, Lockheed Martin and Honeywell.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point.\nWorking knowledge of ASME Y14.5.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings.\nMust be a US citizen\nEmployee Benefits: We recognize as our employees as our most valuable asset.
