You'll work across cloud platforms, networking, automation, security and observability, ensuring our environments remain secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective.\nYou could be ideally suited if you're someone with a strong infrastructure background, who enjoys owning cloud platforms, solving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement across AWS environments.\nThis role is based alongside the team in Crewe, Cheshire with hybrid flexibility available (minimum 3 days per week in the office)\nPlease note: Unfortunately we are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. This includes being unable to offer longer-term visa support to applicants who hold a student or graduate visa.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOperating, maintaining and improving AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, database and serverless services.\nBuilding and managing infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.\nDeveloping automation to simplify provisioning, configuration, patching, scaling and ongoing platform management.\nSupporting cloud networking, including VPCs, routing, security groups, DNS and load balancing.\nSupporting containerised environments using Kubernetes, Amazon EKS and Docker.\nDeveloping monitoring, alerting and observability capabilities to improve reliability and performance.\nPartnering with development, DevOps and cyber security teams to deliver resilient cloud services.\nSupporting cloud security, vulnerability remediation, capacity planning and cost management activities.\nTroubleshooting infrastructure incidents and contributing to problem, change and operational management processes.\nWhat we're looking for\nEssential\nEducated to degree level with a minimum 2:2 (Lower Second Class Honours).\nHands-on experience administering AWS infrastructure, including services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, ECS, EKS and Lambda.\nExperience using Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform or CloudFormation.\nScripting and automation experience using Python, Bash or similar technologies, alongside strong Linux administration skills.\nExperience working with containers, preferably Docker, Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.\nStrong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, least-privilege access, encryption and vulnerability management.\nExperience troubleshooting complex infrastructure and availability issues, with knowledge of incident, change and problem management.\nDesirable\nExperience integrating Infrastructure as Code into CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of cloud cost optimisation and FinOps practices.\nUnderstanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.\nExperience working within ITIL, ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus environments.\nWhat you can expect from us…\nMeaningful work\nYou’ll be an important contributor to the IT operations that run our entire global business.\nA standout workspace\nBased in our offices in Crewe, you’ll enjoy modern, collaborative workspaces, complete with café and onsite gym.\nCareer development\nYour impact on Radius will be rewarded with the opportunity to progress your career in many directions.\nThe development of our people has always been a priority for us.
