You'll lead people across TechOps, SysOps, Networks and Voice, whilst remaining closely involved in technical decision-making and infrastructure strategy.\nPlease note: This is not a purely people-management position. We're specifically looking for a candidate with strong hands-on AWS expertise who can provide technical leadership, challenge existing approaches, drive improvements and act as a recognised cloud subject matter expert.\nThis role is based from our Crewe offices alongside the team.\nWhat you'll be doing…\nOwning the operational management of our cloud infrastructure, with AWS at the heart of our environment.\nEnsuring cloud platforms and infrastructure services remain secure, resilient, scalable and highly available.\nLeading and developing teams responsible for TechOps, SysOps, networking and voice services.\nDriving operational excellence through automation, monitoring and proactive service management.\nManaging cloud security, performance optimisation and cost efficiency across the AWS estate.\nOverseeing enterprise network services, including cloud networking, WAN, VPN and data centre connectivity.\nSupporting and improving our Five9 voice and telephony environment.\nLeading major incident response and driving improvements to reliability and service resilience.\nWorking closely with Cyber Security, Platform Services and other senior technology stakeholders to continually improve our infrastructure landscape.\nWhat we’re looking for…\nEssential\nEducated to degree level with a minimum 2:2 (Lower Second Class Honours).\nProven AWS infrastructure experience in complex enterprise environments.\nExperience leading infrastructure, cloud or operations teams.\nDeep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud networking and security best practices.\nExperience managing highly available, business-critical infrastructure services.\nStrong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tooling.\nExperience implementing monitoring, observability and operational tooling.\nExperience managing major incidents and operational service delivery.\nStrong understanding of infrastructure security principles and governance.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nHighly Desirable\nExposure to Azure environments.\nEnterprise networking expertise across LAN, WAN, VPN and cloud networking.\nExperience with SRE or reliability engineering practices.\nITIL-based service management experience.\nExperience supporting modern development teams with infrastructure and platform services.\nExperience with voice or contact-centre technologies such as Five9 and SIP services.\nThis role Is likely to suit you if…\nYou are currently a Cloud Manager, Cloud Operations Manager, Infrastructure Operations Manager or Senior AWS Engineer with leadership responsibilities.\nYou enjoy leading teams while staying technically engaged.\nYou can comfortably discuss AWS architecture, security, networking, resilience and optimisation at a deep technical level.\nYou are passionate about automation, operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nYou want the opportunity to influence infrastructure strategy whilst remaining close to the technology.\nWhat you can expect from us…\nMeaningful work\nYou’ll be an important contributor to the IT operations that run our entire global business.\nA standout workspace\nBased in our offices in Crewe, you’ll enjoy modern, collaborative workspaces, complete with café and onsite gym.\nCareer development\nYour impact on Radius will be rewarded with the opportunity to progress your career in many directions.\nThe development of our people has always been a priority for us.
