Radius is a global business services company headquartered in Crewe, United Kingdom, and was founded in 1990. The company provides a comprehensive suite of solutions including fuel cards, telematics, vehicle tracking, business insurance, vehicle leasing, and telecommunications. It operates across five continents with offices in eighteen countries, focusing on delivering technology-led services to small and medium-sized enterprises as well as large commercial fleets.

We’re an ambitious, forward-thinking global business who build transformative solutions for our customers to deliver best-in-class sustainable mobility, connectivity and technology solutions. We support our customers with a range of products and services to meet their needs.

This is where you come in. We are on a journey of growth. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of technology innovation and we invite you along on this journey.

Are you a driven new business sales professional who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, and winning new customers?

We are looking for a highly motivated Microsoft New Business Specialist to join our growing team. This is a pure new business role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting prospective customers across Microsoft solutions and licensing.

While marketing campaigns and internal data will provide some support, the majority of success in this role will come from proactive prospecting, networking, outreach, and building a strong pipeline through self-generated opportunities.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of hunting for new business, is commercially driven, and has a passion for helping customers realise the value of Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities through a combination of outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent business development activity.
  • Engage with decision-makers across SMB and Mid-Market organisations to understand business challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Position and sell Microsoft licensing solutions, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, and Modern Workplace offerings.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and demonstrations with prospective customers.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and marketing teams to develop winning customer propositions.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity records, forecasts, and activity within CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft's licensing programmes, funding initiatives, incentives, and market developments.

Note: This is a predominantly new business acquisition role. Whilst leads and data will be provided, successful candidates will be expected to generate a significant proportion of their own opportunities through proactive business development activity.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months' experience selling Microsoft licensing solutions.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft licensing, including Microsoft 365 licensing models and commercial licensing programmes.
  • Proven track record of generating and winning new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
  • Confident in engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience selling Azure, Microsoft Security, Copilot, or Modern Workplace solutions.
  • Knowledge of CSP licensing programmes.
  • Experience working within a Microsoft Partner environment.
  • Understanding of cloud migration, security, and digital transformation projects.
  • Existing network of business contacts within the UK market.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently generates new business opportunities through self-sourced activity.
  • Builds and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Exceeds revenue and activity targets.
  • Develops trusted advisor relationships with customers.
  • Identifies cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the Microsoft portfolio.

Key Behaviours

  • Hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business.
  • Highly proactive and self-sufficient.
  • Competitive and results-focused.
  • Resilient when facing rejection.
  • Curious and continuously learning.
  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively across the wider business.
