That means properly understanding the deep content and shaping information into compelling narratives and ensuring every piece of communication is as clear, logical and accessible as possible.\nWe know how to combine this inspiration and evidence into powerful award-winning work that excites and informs in equal measure.\nWe’re looking for a smart, thoughtful and detail-oriented Senior Designer who combines exceptional craft with strong conceptual thinking and a passion for creative problem-solving.\nYou’ll lead projects for major clients, working closely with strategists, client services and fellow creatives to deliver impactful work across annual and sustainability reporting, brand, campaigns, digital experiences and employee communications.\nThis could be a great opportunity for a strong Designer who’s ready to take the next step in their career and wants the chance to take on more responsibility, shape creative direction, build client relationships and work across a broad range of projects and channels.\nWhat you’ll do:\nLead the design and delivery of annual reports and sustainability reports from concept through to publication.\nDesign and contribute to corporate websites and online reporting experiences.\nCollaborate with strategists, designers, writers, developers and production teams to deliver quality creative solutions.\nCome up with, present and articulate creative ideas confidently to internal teams and clients.\nFollows RY’s creative process to produce work that is strategically strong, idea driven, beautifully crafted and effective in connecting with audiences\nMaintain exceptional standards of typography, layout, storytelling and craft across all outputs\nSuccessfully manage and deliver across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.\nBuild strong collaborative relationships across teams and disciplines.\nSupport the continued growth and creative culture of the team through collaboration, feedback and shared learning.\nHelp inspire and mentor junior members of the creative team.\nContribute to creative excellence that strengthens both client relationships and RY’s reputation.\nAbout you:\nExperience designing annual reports is a strong advantage. \nExperience working on sustainability or ESG reporting projects, with an understanding of stakeholder communications, would be a plus.\nYou’re an expert in editorial and information-led design with exceptional attention to detail.\nYou’re confident working across both print and digital environments.\nYou enjoy solving complex communication challenges through thoughtful, engaging design.\nYou’re collaborative, proactive and comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams.\nYou have strong presentation and communication skills and can clearly articulate creative thinking.\nRequirements\nYou’ll have solid proven agency or consultancy experience, ideally within corporate communications, or integrated communications.\nStrong portfolio showcasing reporting, editorial or corporate communications work\nConceptual thinking and strong idea generation skills \nExperience designing for both online and offline channels\nStrong knowledge of Figma is advantageous\nExperience of designing for - and delivering through the Workiva platform\nExcellent typography, editorial and layout design skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nThis is a hybrid role - but we really value and would expect in-person studio interaction at key points on projects and on average, two days per week minimum.\nRY embraces diversity and equal opportunity.
