The role also owns quality assurance, covering regression testing and release quality gates, and builds foundational pipeline security gates such as secret and dependency scanning, controlled approvals and audit evidence.\nKey responsibilities\nDesign and build CI/CD pipelines from scratch, covering build, test, release, and deployment stages.\n\nLead migration of the team away from manual code merge and manual deployment to an automated, auditable pipeline.\n\nPropose pipeline architecture and branching strategy suited to the team's current project structure.\n\nDrive hands-on adoption: train engineers, run pairing/working sessions, and troubleshoot resistance or workflow gaps during rollout.\n\nMonitor pipeline performance post-adoption, deployment health and continuously resolve operational issues.\n\nInvestigate deployment failures and operational incidents; conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.\n\nStandardize CI/CD and QA practices across projects as adoption matures.\n\nDevelop and maintain operational runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation for CI/CD pipelines and release processes.\n\nEnforce controlled approvals within the pipeline, ensuring that releases to Staging and Production go through the required review and approval processes.\n\nDevelop and execute automated tests for new and existing applications and configuration changes, in accordance with established standards.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n\n3+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD operations, or application support - including at least one greenfield pipeline build\n\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps;
