He/she is responsible for managing the operational execution of the store, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving profitable top-line sales growth. Additionally, they coach and develop all associates and managers while creating an environment in which all team members are able to collaborate and consistently deliver best in class customer experiences. The General Manager oversees our Melrose flagship location. The General Manager is to exemplify service standards, management practices, and store execution; he/she should stand as an example for the rest of the region.\nResponsibilities:\nBrand Experience \nBuilds customer loyalty through in store experience \nDemonstrate product knowledge and ensure delivery of this knowledge to staff \nEnsure an elevated level of sales and services is practiced by all associates. Lead by example. \nRepresents the brand and ensures team members are embodying the brand spirit in all interactions with customers and peers. \nMaintains a store(s) which stands as a demonstration of ideal execution and service standards within their region. \nMaintain a one company/one experience perspective in all customer service interactions Driving the Business \nFormally and informally conduct market research and competitor analysis. \nEnsures store is operating in a fiscally responsible manner and with integrity. \nAbility to analyze all sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and partner in setting strategies. \nIdentifies, creates and manages the execution of all store business plans which drive performance results and maximize business opportunities. \nLeadership Build and maintain good communication with members of corporate team \nStands as an example of excellence in management and execution. \nKnows and follows company policies and procedures including store safety standards, back of house standards, stock, sales and HR policies. Ensures team is educated on all and managers are able to confidently speak to all. \nLeads team through change and challenges \nSolution oriented. Address problems proactively and with potential solutions. \nResponsible for success and results of all areas of the business. Knows when to delegate and when to take ownership and responsibility. \nMaintain a leadership presence on the sales floor \nIdentifies and communicates opportunities for improvements in all areas of the business \nOperations Be intimately familiar and able to perform and train staff on all store operations tasks from register to stock room. \nEnsure all company policies, procedures, initiatives, directives, are communicated and executed. \nEnsures cash handling and register procedures are maintained and executed accurately at all times. \nEnsures integrity of payroll procedures \nResponsible for store schedule and always ensuring adequate floor coverage \nDelegates appropriately to ensure efficiency of store operations and to develop team members\nPeople Staffing & Development Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals \nLead the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff \nProvides regular feedback, coaching and counseling on performance \nResolves all HR and employee issues in a timely and effective manner, partnering with HR and Area Manager when necessary. \nWork with the HR to process new hire paperwork, status changes, departures and all other people admin processes. \nDirectly responsible for the management and success of all store employees \nEnsure you are building a candidate pipeline via networking, interviewing, etc. \nOperates as a mentor and trainer for new managers and stores. \nVisual Merchandising Works closely with VM and buying teams to advise on product assortment and displays based on customer demographics/market\nRequirements:Minimum 5 years specialty retail experience with 5+ years in a management role \nExperience managing in a commissioned based environment \nExperience managing multiple locations or a flagship location \nDemonstrated ability to drive sales and grow business \nDemonstrated ability to motivate, lead and develop team \nLuxury or contemporary management experience preferred \nProven experience leading a product and customer centric sales environment \nAbility to lift at least 30lbs, carry , push, pull, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, crawl, reach, and bend\nRules we live by | Rules you live byBe a Good Human | Be original, be authentic.
