24th September\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Document Control Manager, supporting the management and exchange of critical project information across a major infrastructure programme.\nThis is a people and information management role, you will have 5 to 6 direct reports and will be responsible for ensuring the team effectively manages the flow of project information between contractors, HS2 teams and other stakeholders.\nWorking across rail systems and wider programme interfaces, you will support Project Managers, engineering teams and other functions to ensure information is received, controlled, distributed and returned efficiently and in accordance with established information management processes.\nEssential requirements\nStrong knowledge and practical experience of ISO 19650.\nPrevious experience managing Document Control or Information Management within a construction, infrastructure or major project environment.\nDemonstrable experience line managing and developing Document Controllers or Information Management professionals.\nStrong understanding of document control practices and project information management.\nExperience managing the receipt, review, distribution and exchange of information between contractors and client-side project teams.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience managing multiple stakeholders and teams simultaneously.\nExperience supporting engineering, project management or delivery teams within a multidisciplinary environment.\nStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing information and stakeholder requirements.\nAbility to communicate confidently with contractors, engineers, Project Managers and senior stakeholders.\nNice to have\nExperience within rail\nExperience within major infrastructure sectors such as nuclear, power, utilities or transportation.\nPrevious client-side experience on a major programme.\nExperience working across multiple
