Mechanical Design Engineer
Are you a mechanical design engineer with HVAC/ chilled systems experience?
Have you worked on major infrastructure schemes?
Location: London - 2/3 days a week - rest from home. York and Glasgow also considered.
Rate: Dependant on experience - inside IR35
Contract length: ongoing
We are currently looking for two experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineers to join a major infrastructure programme.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working on large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, including those with a background on projects such as HS2 or similar major programmes. Experience within the data centre sector is also highly desirable, given the technical requirements and fast-paced nature of the project.
1. Mechanical Building Services Engineer - HVAC / Chilled Systems
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years' experience in building services, with strong technical experience in:
·HVAC systems and design
·Mechanical building services
·Chilled water / chilling systems
·Large-scale and complex construction or infrastructure projects
·Working with multiple stakeholders and project teams
·Reviewing technical information and supporting delivery on site
Experience within major infrastructure, transport, data centres, critical environments or other highly technical projects would be advantageous.
2. General Building Services Mechanical Engineer
We are also looking for a Mechanical Building Services Engineer with 5+ years' experience to support the wider mechanical building services requirements of the project.
The successful candidate should have:
·Strong mechanical building services experience
·Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
·Good technical understanding of mechanical systems
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
·The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams
·Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Experience on major infrastructure projects such as HS2 would be highly relevant. Candidates with data centre or other technically complex building experience are also encouraged to apply.
