Salary: £40,000 to £75,000
Additional car allowance for Chartered professionals, with the allowance added upon achieving Chartership for those working towards it.
Location: London, 3 days in the office per week
My client is an established consultancy looking to expand its rail systems commercial team, with opportunities available for Quantity Surveyors/Cost Managers/Commercial Managers across multiple levels.
You’ll have the opportunity to support the commercial delivery of HS2, working across complex rail systems packages including signalling, telecommunications, E&P and wider railway systems.
The roles will primarily focus on post-contract commercial management, cost assurance and the commercial delivery of rail systems packages, with opportunities also available for professionals with strong estimating and pre-contract backgrounds.
Essential Requirements:
· Experience working within rail systems, ideally across signalling, telecommunications, E&P, control systems or other multidisciplinary rail systems packages
· Experience within Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, cost assurance or estimating
· Strong understanding of commercial and cost management principles
· Experience working within a consultancy, client, contractor or major rail programme environment
· Good communication and stakeholder management skills
· Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
Nice to have:
· RICS, CIOB or CICES Chartership, or currently working towards professional qualification
For professionals working towards Chartership, support is available towards professional accreditation with organisations including RICS and CICES, with the additional car allowance added to your package once achieved.
