Cards are how stablecoins meet real-world spend, and this role will shape the product, platform, and growth decisions that define that experience for our partners and their end users.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role. You’ll operate as the directly responsible PM for cards end to end: the roadmap, the cardholder experience, the platform capabilities that power it, and the activation and growth loops that make the product stick. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, partnerships, and directly with our fintech, neobank, and institutional customers.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn the roadmap for Rain’s cards product - cardholder experience, platform capabilities, and growth - and drive it end to end\nPartner deeply with engineering on platform and infrastructure tradeoffs (issuing flows, authorization behavior, ledger design, network integrations) and translate them into partner-facing product decisions\nDefine and ship the card experience our fintech, neobank, and institutional partners put in front of their users - onboarding, activation, spend controls, and lifecycle\nBuild and tune the activation and growth levers that drive adoption, usage, and retention of cards across partner programs\nTranslate complex payments and stablecoin infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces\nGather feedback directly from partners, distill it into sharp prioritization, and push the team toward the highest-leverage work\nMeasure ruthlessly, iterate quickly, and set a bar others want to work to\nWhat We’re Looking For\n8-10 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products from zero-to-one through scale at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality\nExceptional product judgment and analytical rigor - you’re someone others describe as one of the sharpest PMs they’ve worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you\nA senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction\nStrong technical fluency (APIs, payments systems, blockchain concepts) and the instinct to pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering\nGenuinely excited to live in the details - you believe product quality is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right\nExcellent written and verbal communication; you can operate with sophisticated external partners and internal engineering teams with equal ease\nProven ability to ship quickly, measure adoption, and iterate in a fast-moving environment\nNice to Have, But Not Mandatory\nExperience with card issuing, payments, or cross-border fintech products\nExposure to stablecoins, crypto, or smart contract ecosystems\nPrevious startup or hypergrowth environment experience\nThings that enable a fulfilling, healthy, and happy experience at Rain:\nUnlimited time off Unlimited vacation can be daunting, so we require Rainmakers to take 10 days minimum for themselves.\nFlexible working We support a flexible workplace - work from home, come into an office, or both.
