If you're curious, bold, and excited to help shape a borderless financial future, we'd love to talk.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nRain is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our onchain surface - the blockchain layer that everything else at Rain depends on. Stablecoins only work as real-world money if the onchain side is fast, safe, and invisible: collateral held in contracts, settlement across chains, custody and wallet architecture, and the asset and network coverage our partners need to operate globally. This role owns that.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role. You'll be the directly responsible PM for onchain end to end: smart contracts and protocol design, chain and asset integrations, settlement and treasury flows, and the infrastructure underneath it all. You'll work closely with engineering, security, compliance, legal, and directly with our fintech, neobank, and institutional partners.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nOwn the roadmap for Rain's onchain product - smart contracts, chain and asset coverage, settlement, and payments - and drive it end to end\n\nPartner deeply with engineering on protocol and infrastructure tradeoffs (contract architecture and upgradeability, collateralization and liquidation logic, node/RPC reliability, gas and fee strategy, bridging and cross-chain messaging) and translate them into partner-facing product decisions\n\nDecide which chains, assets, and stablecoins Rain supports and when - build the framework for those calls across liquidity, security, cost, partner demand, compliance considerations, and regulatory exposure\n\nDrive the security bar for onchain work - audits, monitoring, incident response, and the operational guardrails that go with holding real value onchain\n\nTranslate complex protocol and blockchain infrastructure into intuitive product surfaces and clear partner-facing documentation\n\nGather feedback directly from partners, distill it into sharp prioritization, and push the team toward the highest-leverage work\n\nMeasure ruthlessly, iterate quickly, and set a bar others want to work to\n\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n8-10 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products from zero-to-one through scale at a product-led company with a strong engineering culture and high bar for quality\n\nDeep, hands-on blockchain fluency - you've shipped onchain products and can reason unaided about EVM and Solana mechanics (and other chains), smart contract design and upgrade patterns, gas economics, bridging models, and other onchain tradeoffs\n\nExceptional product judgment and analytical rigor - you're someone others describe as one of the sharpest PMs they've worked with, and you consistently raise the bar for the people around you\n\nA senior, autonomous operator who can define the problem, drive the plan, and own the outcome without needing close direction\n\nSound instincts on onchain security and risk: you know where value gets lost, you push for audits and monitoring before incidents rather than after, and you can weigh a shipping deadline against a real risk without flinching\n\nStrong technical fluency beyond the chain itself (APIs, distributed systems, payments and ledger design) and the instinct to pull on technical threads yourself rather than defer to engineering\n\nGenuinely excited to live in the details - you believe product quality is won in the specifics and are energized by the work to get them right\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication; you can operate with sophisticated external partners and internal engineering teams with equal ease\n\nProven ability to ship quickly, measure adoption, and iterate in a fast-moving environment\n\nNICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY\nExperience with stablecoin issuance, onchain lending or collateralized credit, or tokenized asset products\n\nBackground at a protocol, L1/L2, wallet, custodian, or onchain infrastructure company\n\nFamiliarity with non-EVM ecosystems (Solana, Tron, Bitcoin L2s) and multi-chain operations at scale\n\nExperience with payments, card issuing, or cross-border fintech products\n\nWorking knowledge of the regulatory landscape around digital assets and custody\n\nPrevious startup or hypergrowth environment experience\n\nThings that enable a fulfilling, healthy, and happy experience at Rain:\nUnlimited time off Unlimited vacation can be daunting, so we require Rainmakers to take 10 days minimum for themselves.\nFlexible working We support a flexible workplace - work from home, come into an office, or both.
