Opportunities\nSupportive Team-Oriented Environment\nPosition Summary\nThe Operations Lead oversees all branch operations within the assigned territory while ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and above industry standards.\nThis role is expected to create high levels of customer satisfaction, fulfill company contractual obligations through timely and profitable delivery of services, coordinate schedules and dispatch services, oversee team performance and operational workflows, maintain documentation and billing standards, and help train and develop future leaders within the Rainbow team.\nThe Operations Lead serves as the operational point person for mitigation, fire & contents, reconstruction coordination, customer communication, estimating, subcontractor management, technician development, and overall branch performance.\nThis is a leadership role that still requires a hands-on operational mindset and field involvement when needed.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nOversee day-to-day branch operations involving water mitigation, mold remediation, fire & contents restoration, reconstruction coordination, and emergency response services\nEstablish and maintain service schedules to ensure all services are delivered efficiently while meeting customer demand and profit margin expectations\nSupervise technicians, field supervisors, project managers, coordinators, and operational staff including training, coaching, development, and performance management in conjunction with leadership teams\nPerform inspections and manage scope of work on job sites before, during, and after work is completed\nExecute timely, accurate, and profitable estimates\nWrite, review, and audit estimates to ensure accuracy, profitability, and operational quality\nOversee all job files to ensure proper documentation, insurance approvals, customer authorizations, billing accuracy, and operational notes are maintained\nPromptly respond to all communications related to customer requests, business demand, escalated situations, and job status updates\nEnsure all dispatched jobs are responded to in a timely and professional manner\nMaintain and build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, adjusters, property managers, and referral partners\nManage subcontractors on reconstruction and restoration projects while monitoring performance, budgets, and completion standards\nAssist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development of operational team members\nWork alongside leadership to develop operational business plans, growth strategies, department goals, and training initiatives\nMonitor operational KPIs, profitability, customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and branch performance metrics\nEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, IICRC standards, company procedures, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling guidelines\nIdentify operational issues, staffing challenges, safety concerns, and workflow inefficiencies proactively while implementing solutions\nMaintain accurate operational reports and communicate issues, trends, and updates to leadership teams\nAssist with emergency response operations and support field teams during high-demand situations when needed\nPerform mitigation or rebuild duties alongside technicians and operational teams as business demands require\nTravel throughout assigned territory and support other locations when operationally necessary\nPerform additional operational and leadership duties as assigned\nRequirements & Skills\nMinimum 3+ years of restoration industry experience including mitigation and/or reconstruction management preferred\nPrevious leadership, branch management, operations management, or project management experience preferred\nStrong understanding of water mitigation, mold remediation, fire & contents restoration, reconstruction coordination, estimating, and operational workflows\nXactimate experience required\nMICA, Symbility, Alacrity, DASH, and/or Time & Materials experience preferred\nWRT, ASD, and AMRT certifications required\nJourneyman or Master IICRC certifications preferred\nStrong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities\nAbility to lead teams while maintaining a hands-on operational mindset\nExcellent customer service and relationship management skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and operational demands simultaneously\nComfortable working in both office and field environments\nComputer literate with working knowledge of spreadsheets, estimating software, business systems, and operational reporting tools\nComfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces and attics while wearing PPE when necessary\nNot afraid to roll up your sleeves and get dirty\nPositive attitude with strong work ethic and leadership mentality\nValid Driver’s License with a clean driving record\nAbility to pass a drug test and extensive background screening\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds\nComfortable standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working at elevated heights
