The Rakuten Mobile Enterprise Solution Development Department provides mobile communication services and related solutions to corporate clients within Rakuten Mobile, the core business of the Rakuten Group. As a key department responsible for increasing ARPU (Average Revenue Per User), which is a top priority for the entire group, we contribute to solving our clients' business challenges by combining a diverse range of solutions, including IoT, cloud services, and security, alongside our core SIM card offerings. We aim to enhance customer satisfaction and expand our business through optimal proposals tailored to customer needs.

Within the Solution Engineering Section, DX Engineering Group, and the Mobile Coordinator Team, we provide a unified mobile environment that allows customers to operate with peace of mind. Our responsibilities include kitting services such as initial setup for smartphones, tablets, and PCs, as well as requirement definition, construction, and operational support for help desks, and consulting for the implementation of mobile security solutions like MDM (Mobile Device Management).

Position Details

Your primary responsibility will be to handle everything from initial interviews and requirement definition to the delivery of kitting and help desk services for mobile devices and tablets. You will also provide consulting support for security implementations, including MDM, to build platforms that enable mobile utilization for corporate clients.

・Interview corporate clients to identify current challenges and needs regarding mobile device utilization.

・Gain a detailed understanding of usage objectives, environments, number of employees, and security requirements.

・Define optimal solution requirements (kitting, help desk, MDM, etc.) based on the gathered information.

・Support device selection (smartphones, tablets) based on customer requirements.

・Perform initial device setup (OS version upgrades, initial configurations).

・nstall designated applications, configure settings, and manage licenses.

・Implement security settings (password policies, device encryption, VPN settings, etc.).

・Register devices to MDM and apply profiles.

・Manage individual device assets (linking asset management numbers, user information, etc.).

・Arrange packaging and shipping of kitted devices.

・Create and manage kitting procedure manuals and configuration documentation.

・Define requirements for help desk structures tailored to the client's organizational scale (first-tier support, second-tier support, escalation flows, etc.).

・Analyze inquiry data post-launch and propose improvements.

・Provide regular operational status reporting.

・Define functional requirements for MDM (security policies, app distribution, anti-loss measures, remote wipe, etc.).

・Design and build MDM environments (tenant creation, group settings, profile creation).

・Configure integration between MDM and existing systems (Active Directory, SSO, etc.).

・Conduct operational training for MDM administrators and create manuals.

・Provide operational support and propose regular setting reviews after MDM implementation.

・Respond to customer inquiries and perform troubleshooting after implementation.

・Conduct regular client visits or online meetings to confirm operational status.

・Propose improvements for further mobile utilization based on usage analysis.

・Provide information on new devices, OS updates, applications, and security threats.

・Propose solution expansions aligned with the customer's business growth.

・Develop project plans, manage progress, and track issues.

・Perform administrative tasks such as preparing quotes and processing invoices.

・Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Development, Support, etc.).

・Gather information on new technologies and products; engage in self-study.

Mandatory Qualifications:

・Experience in proposing and implementing IT solutions for corporate clients.

・Practical experience in kitting services.

・Experience in building and operating help desks.

・Fundamental knowledge of mobile devices.

・Experience in implementing and managing MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions.

・Strong customer negotiation and communication skills.

・Excellent documentation skills.

・English proficiency: TOEIC 600 or higher (or equivalent certification).

・Japanese: Business-level proficiency. Ability to understand Japanese business customs and culture, and conduct smooth communication, negotiations, and presentations with clients.

Desired Qualifications:

・Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC 800 or equivalent skills).

・Experience in sales or pre-sales.

・Knowledge of cloud services.

・Fundamental knowledge of networks and security.

・Experience in project planning and management.
