In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and ensuring a cost-effective, reliable, and continuous flow of materials to support both short-term operational needs and long-term business objectives.\nWorking closely with internal stakeholders across Production, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Customer Service, you will play a key role in maintaining supply continuity, driving cost savings, and supporting new product introductions.\nAbout the Supply Chain Team\nOur Supply Chain team ensures that materials and services are available where and when they are needed while balancing inventory levels, quality requirements, and cost efficiency.\nThe team is responsible for:\nSupplier performance management, including delivery, quality, spend, quotations, and logistics.\nSupply chain risk management, lead-time optimisation, obsolescence management, and demand planning.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI), including supplier selection, component sourcing, and product phase-in/phase-out activities.\nInventory and cost management, including total cost of ownership, inventory optimisation, and cost-reduction initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nRaise and manage purchase orders within the ERP system.\nExpedite supplier deliveries to ensure material availability.\nMaintain and improve material flow while achieving quality, delivery, and cost objectives.\nManage and maintain accurate ERP master data, including lead times, safety stock levels, and Kanban settings.\nNegotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.\nDrive Purchase Price Variance (PPV) improvements and cost-saving initiatives.\nIdentify, qualify, and consolidate suppliers to strengthen the supply base.\nSupport cross-functional continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.\nAssist with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and supplier onboarding activities.\nMonitor and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Experience & Knowledge\nExperience working within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong supplier management and procurement experience.\nKnowledge of electronics sourcing and component procurement.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing quality principles.\nExperience with low-cost-country sourcing.\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards (JDE), or similar.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.\nKnowledge of continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies.\nSkills & Competencies\nCustomer-focused with a solution-oriented
