Will provide on the job training (OJT). All work is performed in explosive handling areas.\nWork under direct supervision. \nWeigh and press inert & energetic materials. \nSet up and use analytical balance. \nPerform inert assembly operations. \nMinor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work. \nSet up and use powder press for pressing operation. \nSome minor set-up capability for specific equipment. \nMay have some basic soldering experience. \nPerforms various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies. \nUses visual aids, drawings and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments. \nInstall sub-assemblies. \nMust display proficient dexterity to insure safe handling of explosive devices. \nAll work is performed in explosive handling areas. \nIf required, attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements.
