This role will support the design, development, testing, and improvement of precision electronic testand measurement products.\nThe right candidate will have 0 to 5 years of engineering experience and a strong interest in mechanical design and product development. Candidates must have 3D CAD modeling experience from school, internships, co-ops, or full-time work. Experience with Creo and electronic or electromechanical products is preferred but not required.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign mechanical parts, assemblies, and enclosures for electronic products with support from experienced engineers.\n\nCreate and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of material, and product documents.\n\nSupport new product development from early concepts through production release.\n\nWork with Electrical, Firmware, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, Compliance, and Supply Chain teams.\n\nBuild and review prototypes and support design verification testing.\n\nLearn and apply good design practices for thermal performance, strength, manufacturability, and reliability.\n\nHelp investigate production, quality, and customer issues.\n\nCreate and support engineering change requests and product lifecycle management work.\n\nTake part in design reviews and clearly share design updates and test results.\n\nSupport existing products, cost reduction, and continuous improvementwork.\n\nWork with suppliers and manufacturing teams to help make sure designs can be built safely and consistently.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a relatedfield.\n\n0 to 5 years of professional, internship, or co-op experience.\n\n3D CAD modeling experience from school, internships, co-ops, or full-time work.\n\nBasic understanding of mechanical design and engineering drawings.\n\nBasic understanding of common manufacturing methods and materials.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.\n\nAbility to work on your own and as part of a cross-functional team.\n\nClear written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Creo Parametric.\n\nInternship, co-op, project, or work experience designing electronic or electromechanical products.\n\nExperience with sheet metal, machinedparts, plastic parts, or mechanical assemblies.\n\nBasic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.\n\nBasic knowledge of thermal design, airflow, or heat transfer.\n\nExperience building and testing prototypes.\n\nExperience with PLM systems such as Windchill, Oracle PLM, or Teamcenter.\n\nHands-on experience with tools, lab equipment, or electronic test equipment.\n\nExperience working on a student design team, capstone project, or similar group
