This role will support the design, development, testing, and ongoing improvement of precision electronic test and measurement products. The position requires a strong mechanical design background and the ability to work closely with Electrical, Firmware, Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of engineering experience developing mechanical components and assemblies for electronic products and have strong 3D CAD modeling experience. Experience with Creo is preferred but not required.\nWhat You Will Do\nDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures for electronic instrumentation products.\nCreate and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, bills of material, and product documentation.\nSupport new product development from concept through production release.\nWork with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet performance, cost, quality, and schedule requirements.\nBuild and evaluate prototypes and support design verification testing.\nPerform engineering analysis related to thermal performance, structural integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.\nSupport production, quality, and customer issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nLead and support engineering change requests (ECRs) and product lifecycle management activities.\nParticipate in design reviews and provide technical recommendations.\nSupport product sustainment, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWork with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs can be produced efficiently and reliably.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.\n5-10 years of professional mechanical engineering experience.\nStrong experience with 3D CAD modeling and mechanical design.\nExperience creating engineering drawings.\nExperience designing mechanical components and assemblies for manufacturing.\nExperience working on complex products from concept through production.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently and within cross-functional teams.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Creo Parametric.\nExperience designing products that contain electronics, circuit boards, cables, connectors, displays, power supplies, or similar electromechanical systems.\nExperience with sheet metal, machined components, plastic parts, castings, and assemblies.\nExperience with thermal design, airflow management, and heat transfer concepts.\nExperience with tolerance stack-up analysis and design for manufacturing (DFM).\nExperience supporting both new product development and sustaining engineering activities.\nExperience with PLM systems such as Windchill, Oracle PLM, or Teamcenter.\nNice to Have\nExperience with electronic test and measurement equipment.\nExperience with simulation tools such as FEA or CFD.\nExperience mentoring junior engineers.\nExperience supporting global
