The successful candidate will become a recognized subject matter expert in Ethernet test and measurement methodologies while helping drive the future direction of Tektronix networking solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the technical leader for Ethernet validation, debug, compliance, and interoperability applications.\nSupport customers developing next-generation networking, telecommunications, datacenter, storage, and AI infrastructure products.\nIndependently resolve complex customer technical issues involving Ethernet physical layer measurements, signaling integrity, compliance, and protocol analysis.\nConduct customer demonstrations, evaluations, workshops, and technical deep-dive sessions.\nDevelop technical content including application notes, training materials, videos, reference workflows, and customer presentations.\nPartner with sales and marketing teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.\nSupport product launches, release readiness, beta programs, and customer adoption initiatives.\nAnalyze industry standards and technology trends to identify future customer requirements.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to improve product performance, usability, and customer workflows.\nProvide technical mentorship and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing across the global Applications Engineering team.\nRepresent Tektronix at industry events, standards organizations, consortium activities, and customer meetings.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.\n8+ years of industry experience in networking, Ethernet design, validation, test engineering, or applications engineering.\nStrong knowledge of Ethernet technologies, including: 10G, 25G, 50G, 100G, 200G, 400G, and emerging 800G standards\nPAM4 signaling\nEthernet compliance methodologies\nOptical and electrical Ethernet interfaces\n\nStrong understanding of: High-speed signal integrity\nOscilloscope-based measurements\nEye diagrams and jitter analysis\nChannel characterization and debugging\n\nExcellent communication and customer engagement skills.\nAbility to work effectively across global teams and customer locations.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally as required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Ethernet compliance standards and interoperability testing.\nFamiliarity with IEEE Ethernet standards development.\nKnowledge of optical communications, SerDes architectures, and datacenter networking technologies.\nExperience with BERT solutions, protocol analysis tools, and automated test software.\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
