This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead network initiatives from planning through execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN).\nManage and optimize routing and switching environments (SDWAN,SDA,BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP).\nConfigure and support firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls.\nLead network upgrades, migrations, and major infrastructure projects.\nSupport and troubleshoot network performance issues and outages (root cause analysis).\nMonitor network health using tools like SolarWinds / ThousandEyes (or similar).\nMaintain network documentation: diagrams, IP schema, standards, and runbooks.\nWork with service providers for circuit turn-ups, troubleshooting, and escalations.\nEnsure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.\nParticipate in on-call rotation and support after-hours maintenance activities.\nCloud Networking (AWS / Azure)\nDesign and support cloud network architecture including:AWS VPC / Transit Gateway / Route Tables / NACLs / Security Groups\nAzure VNet / VNet Peering / UDR / NSGs / Cloud Firewall\n\nImplement secure hybrid connectivity:IPsec site-to-site VPN\nAWS Direct Connect / Azure ExpressRoute\n\nImplement cloud segmentation and secure routing patterns for CUI environments.\nSupport cloud security integrations:Centralized logging/monitoring\nNetwork traffic visibility and alerting\n\nPartner with cloud engineering teams to ensure compliant connectivity for workloads handling CUI\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience.\n 7 years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.\nStrong knowledge of:Routing and switching (Cisco)\nTCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, InfoBlox\nWAN technologies (DMVPN, SD-WAN, DIA, broadband)\nWireless networking (Cisco/Meraki)\n\nExperience with:Firewalls (Palo Alto / Cisco ASA/FTD)\nVPN (site-to-site, remote access)\nNetwork segmentation and security best practices\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills using packet capture tools (Wireshark/tcpdump).\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SD-WAN (Viptela, etc.)\nCloud networking experience: AWS / Azure / OCIVPC/VNet design, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute\n\nAutomation experience (Python, Ansible, Terraform, API-based networking).\nExperience with NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, ClearPass).\nKnowledge of compliance/security frameworks (NIST, CMMC, ISO 27001).\nCertifications preferred:CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise/Security)\nPCNSE /
