Organizes and executes internal process and product audits and drives resulting actions to continuously improve product quality and quality management standards. Tracks and manages supplier quality. Supervises assignments and timesheets for Quality Inspectors/Technicians in the Pre-Production and other areas. Manages, modifies and improves current in-house developed data management tools (Access databases, etc.) and develops new tools as needed.\nPrimary Responsibilitie s\nLeading quality assurance initiatives, defining QA strategies, and establishing test methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables\nProviding guidance and mentorship to Quality Engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team\nGeneration and reporting of quality KPIs (both internal and external)\nWorking closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, production, development, and operations, to align quality objectives and ensure a shared understanding of requirements\nPlanning and execution of internal process and product audits\nDefining actions or countermeasures arising from such internal audits, and ensuring their timely implementation\nManagement and execution of external audits as needed\nParticipation in project teams as needed, specifically to represent quality management interests\nDeveloping and maintaining quality plan for existing and new products, in collaboration with operations team and/or project teams\nParticipating in the creation of qualification test matrices in preparation of product launches\nLeading or participating in pilot runs, follow up of resulting action lists\nProduct releases / serial releases (including PAPP if requested by relevant customers)\nLeading and coordinating efforts to address quality problems (e.g. customer call-backs, customer or supplier reclamations, significant production issues)\nPlanning and executing in-process quality control tests, align resulting actions with operations leadership, follow up actions\nValidation and approval of supplier FAIs\nDiagnosis of customer reclamations, definition of countermeasures, handling of relevant communication and reporting in the appropriate or required formats (e.g. 8D)\nValidation and maintenance of testing equipment, in collaboration with Industrial, Test or Manufacturing Engineering team\nSupervise Quality Technicians, manage associate hours, performance, and development\nAssist Supply Chain in developing and executing processes to both effectively qualify new and exit risky suppliers\nAssist in developing DFMEA and PFMEA for manufacturing processes and new products.\nProvide Quality leadership to the manufacturing team to ensure customer and quality expectations are met\nDevelop APQP, ISIR, in support of manufacturing\nAssist in the completion and closure of product non-conformance reports\nProvide documentation of root cause and corrective actions for customer complaints involving supplier non conformances\nManaging the Material Review Board (MRB) area for the assigned section of the facility\nQualifications\nEducation Requirement:\nBachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in a Technical discipline;
