Match and verify shipment contents when loading to ensure proper dispatch.\nSchedule pickups with local freight carriers as required.\nReceives incoming shipments and delivers to appropriate destination locations.\nPrepare material and required documents for goods requiring additional operations.\nExpedites parts for cells and provides updates for parts at outside operations.\nMatch paperwork with cartons of incoming and outgoing material to verify appropriate contents. Counts incoming parts for possible part shortages as appropriate.\nCommunicate and coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and similar issues.\nCollect, store and process scrap, including operating a cardboard bale.\nLoad and unload materials including indirect materials, outgoing parcels and skids, scrap, and recyclables to/from common carriers at loading dock.\nEnters data into an automated inventory control system using a computer.\nStore and archive transaction documents and provide as required.\nConducts physical inventory of parts and maintains storage areas in a neat and orderly fashion.\nMaintains work area in accordance with 5S standards.\nPerform similar, comparable, or related duties as required and assigned.\nQualifications\nMust have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions.
