This role focuses on DDR memory technologies, PCI Express, PAM4 signaling, DPOJET analysis software, and Tektronix performance probing solutions.\nAs a Senior Applications Engineer, you will serve as a customer-facing technical leader, partnering with engineers developing next-generation computing, networking, AI, and semiconductor technologies. You will combine deep technical expertise with customer engagement skills to solve challenging measurement problems, influence product development, and enable business growth.\nThis position is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about signal integrity, high-speed serial communications, and helping customers succeed.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the primary technical expert for DDR memory, PCIe, PAM4, DPOJET, and high-performance probe applications.\nIndependently resolve complex customer technical issues and escalations involving signal integrity, compliance validation, jitter analysis, and measurement workflows.\nConduct advanced customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and measurement consultations.\nPartner with sales teams to support strategic opportunities and accelerate customer adoption of Tektronix solutions.\nDevelop and deliver technical presentations, application notes, training content, webinars, and conference presentations.\nAct as the Voice of the Customer by translating customer requirements and industry trends into actionable feedback for product management and engineering teams.\nSupport new product introductions, beta evaluations, release readiness activities, and competitive benchmarking.\nCollaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing to improve products, workflows, and customer experience.\nRepresent Tektronix at industry events, technical conferences, consortium meetings, and customer engagements.\nMentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the Applications Engineering organization.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.\n8+ years of experience in applications engineering, signal integrity, test engineering, product development, or related technical roles.\nExpertise with high-speed digital interfaces such as: DDR4/DDR5/LPDDR\nPCI Express (Gen4/Gen5/Gen6)\nPAM4 signaling\nHigh-speed serial communication architectures\n\nStrong understanding of: Signal integrity fundamentals\nJitter and noise analysis\nEye diagram measurements\nOscilloscope-based compliance and debugging workflows\n\nExperience using high-bandwidth oscilloscopes and probes.\nExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.\nAbility to travel approximately 20-30%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with DPOJET, TekExpress, or automated compliance solutions.\nFamiliarity with protocol compliance standards and industry consortium activities.\nExperience supporting semiconductor, hyperscale datacenter, AI accelerator, server, or networking customers.\nKnowledge of probe architectures, de-embedding techniques, and measurement uncertainty analysis.\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering or related
