Exceptions may be considered for the right candidate.\nTravel: Up to 25% for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and internal meetings.\nResponsibilities:\nStrategic Portfolio Leadership:\nOwn portfolio strategy and lifecycle decisions across the Precision DC portfolio, from discovery and business case development through launch, optimization, and end-of-life planning\n\nSet and maintain a prioritized roadmap aligned to customer workflows, competitive dynamics, technology trends, and company strategy\n\nMake clear product tradeoff decisions by balancing customer value, technical feasibility, investment needs, and business return\n\nOwn business performance for assigned product lines, including growth, margin, and portfolio health\n\nCustomer and Market Insight:\nEngage directly with customers, partners, and field teams to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs in target applications\n\nCapture and translate voice-of-customer, market data, and competitive intelligence into actionable portfolio priorities and differentiated product requirements\n\nIdentify emerging market opportunities, adjacent use cases, and competitive threats that inform roadmap and investment decisions\n\nDevelop clear value propositions and positioning that connect Tektronix solutions to customer outcomes\n\nCross-Functional Leadership and Influence:\nLead through influence across engineering, sales, marketing, applications, and operations to align priorities and deliver portfolio outcomes\n\nPartner with engineering throughout development to ensure solutions meet target customer requirements, performance expectations, schedule commitments, and business goals\n\nWork with marketing and sales to define go-to-market plans, sales enablement, and launch readiness for new products and major updates\n\nCommunicate strategy, priorities, and product direction clearly to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization\n\nProduct Discovery and Development:\nLead product discovery to validate opportunities, assess customer value, and reduce risk before major development investments are made\n\nDefine product requirements and success criteria that guide development teams toward differentiated, high-value solutions\n\nDrive disciplined decision-making throughout development by balancing scope, schedule, technical tradeoffs, and expected business impact\n\nChampion innovation informed by customer applications, market shifts, and technology trends relevant to Precision DC test workflows\n\nBusiness Performance and Portfolio Management:\nMonitor portfolio performance using revenue, margin, adoption, and other key business indicators, and adjust priorities as needed\n\nDevelop business cases and investment recommendations for new products, enhancements, and portfolio expansion opportunities\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve growth, mix, and profitability across the portfolio\n\nLead portfolio lifecycle decisions, including sustaining investments, rationalization, and end-of-life strategies for legacy products\n\nSupport product operations activities such as product KPI tracking, forecasting, and revenue recognition through customer acceptance process.\n\nLive, practice, and champion a continuous improvement mindset and processes grounded on the Ralliant Business System.\n\nCustom System Configuration Support:\nUse margin analysis, regional pricing dynamics, and local competition insights to inform pricing globally.\n\nWork with account managers and applications engineers to develop system configurations upon customer requirements and provide customized quotes.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field;
