including procurement of test instrumentation\n\nBuild - Support build of test system and creation/updates of assembly instructions and test controller configurations.\n\nBuild and configure test system controllers\n\nProblem Solve - work with Test Engineering team to resolve issues as they arise\n\nRelease - Validate that equipment is ready to release for Engineering use\n\nQualifications:\nThe successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:\nMinimum Requirements:\nRequired Education and Experience:\nAssociate’s degree or comparable military training in Engineering Technology or related field, or 5 years experience related to electrical engineering technician work or Information Technology.\n\nRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nFlexibility - Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to work both independently and in a team environment\n\nEffectiveness -Must possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative; Effectively prioritize and follow through on assignments and projects\n\nTroubleshooting/Debug - Experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical products is required\n\nCommunication - Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication and teamwork; Possess strong written and oral communication skills\n\nTools - Must have experience with Windows Office Suite (including word processing, spreadsheet software, project planning, presentation, e-mail and flow charts)\n\nSecurity Clearance:\nThe applicant may be required to apply and procure a security clearance after being hired.\n\nPreferred:\nPackage and Wafer handler operation and troubleshooting experience\n\nWindows and UNIX operating system operation and configuration experience\n\nNetwork administration experience\n\nLean - Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles\n\nERP/MRP System - Understanding of Oracle data base data entry and analysis\n\nContinuous Improvement - Experience interacting with engineering on continuous improvement projects; Experience with analytical problem-solving skills to solve technical problems\n\nTest Equipment - Experience with operation of electronic test equipment; Ability to use and understand general test equipment including digital multi-meters (DMM), power supplies, sources meters, torque wrenches, etc.; Background in practical electronics, electronic test equipment and troubleshooting\n\nSchematics - Ability to use schematics to conduct fault isolation\n\nExperience in software code development\n\nQuality - Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO and AS9100\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; balance; crouch, stoop, twist, kneel, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, some overhead push/pull an average of 50 lbs. (maximum 125 lbs.) . The employee is occasionally required to lift more than 50 lbs.; climb; twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
