Role Overview :
As a Data Analyst at Ram Fincorp, you will serve as a critical bridge between raw financial data and actionable business strategy. You will work closely with the risk management and product teams to translate complex datasets into insights that drive lending decisions and portfolio health. Your daily contributions will directly influence the company's credit risk framework, ensuring that our financial products remain both competitive and secure. This role offers the opportunity to shape the analytical culture of the firm while working in a fast-paced environment in Gurugram.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain sophisticated credit risk models to accurately predict borrower behavior and minimize non-performing assets.
- Extract and manipulate large-scale datasets using SQL to support ad-hoc reporting and long-term strategic planning for the leadership team.
- Automate data pipelines and analytical workflows using Python to increase the efficiency of risk assessment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify trends in portfolio performance and recommend adjustments to underwriting policies.
- Present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders to facilitate data-backed decision-making across the organization.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and Python for statistical analysis and model building.
- Proven ability to design and validate credit risk models within a financial services or lending environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to senior management and diverse internal teams.
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably within the fintech or banking sector.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment at our Gurugram office, collaborating closely with local teams to drive project outcomes.
