Our GLO team members are based in India and Europe. We are seeking a full-time Legal Advisor specializing in Contracts matters to join our growing team. The primary focus of this role is reviewing consultancy contracts with clients and advising our internal client base. The team also handles professional indemnity insurance, claims, and corporate/company secretarial support for designated regions.\nYour Responsibilities:\nReview contracts and other legal documents, identifying and communicating potential legal implications to project and local legal teams.\nDraft, review, and modify contractual instruments to support various business activities.\nNegotiate, review, and draft documentation for business transactions, including developing and advising on checklists to ensure timely information submission.\nReview and redline contracts and other project legal documents from various jurisdictions (overflow support), contributing to knowledge management for these requests.\nProvide legal information and interpretation, conduct training, and communicate relevant legal requirements to concerned staff.\nAdhere to Ramboll's internal policies and governance, providing guidance to stakeholders.\nKey Deliverables (First 24 Months):\nService Management - Contracts: Collaborate with the GLO team to ensure timely, high-quality, pragmatic responses aligned with Ramboll governance.\nStakeholder Management: Develop strong working relationships with Tender Managers and Company Directors within Ramboll entities.\nYour Starting Point for Growth:\nAt Ramboll, we are committed to your professional development. For this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications and experience:\nLegal qualifications (LLB or equivalent) with at least 5+ years of relevant experience.\nPrior in-house legal experience within a consultancy or engineering company in the construction, environmental, or infrastructure industry.\nProven experience in contract drafting and redlining international contracts, applying commercial acumen to contract review and advice.\nWorking knowledge of professional indemnity insurance, workmen's compensation insurance, and third-party liability insurance.\nExcellent communication and drafting skills.\nAbility to create and deliver PowerPoint presentations.\nStrong self-learning and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work effectively with diverse cultures and interact with all organizational levels.\nAbility to work under pressure and be results-oriented.\nPersonal Qualities for Success:\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following personal attributes:\nAbility to work effectively with people from diverse cultures and at all levels of the organization.\nStrong workload and people management skills.\nAbility to apply a commercial and pragmatic approach when advising on contracts in foreign jurisdictions.\n Qualification: LLB\nMandatory Skills Requires: Contract Management, Legal advising, Risk Management,\nInsurance, Dispute & resolution, teamwork, stakeholder management\nSoftware Skills: MS Office, Teams Contract Management tools, CRM\nExperience: 5-9 year\n Ramboll is a leading engineering, architecture and consultancy company.
