Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.\nYou will join our Project Management Team\nAs our new Project Manager, you will be part of our Buildings Division in London, UK, reporting into the project management lead in the office. We work across a variety of projects and sectors from large commercial and residential developments, boutique hotels and high-end retail stores to higher education and science buildings locally, nationally and internationally. The London office team culture is one of inclusion, collaboration and enjoyment, where they warmly welcome new team members into their fold.\nYour key tasks and responsibilities will be:\nDelivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring that scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the life of a project.\nCoordinating our Multidisciplinary design consultancy team.\nManaging the design process through design workshops and leading project meetings.\nDevelop positive and collaborative working relationships with project team, clients and contractors.\nCommunicate with and represent the Client’s interest and provide a professional and cost-effective service that meets their expectations.\nManagement of sub-consultants as the project requires, typically this may be specialist designers, quantity surveyors or architects.\nAssume responsibility for the day to day management of all project activities including Monthly Reports, Minutes and Programmes, and delivery of presentations when required.\nEnsuring coordinated and high-quality deliverables from our multidisciplinary teams\nSupport to bid teams and preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders alongside the discipline team leaders.\nYour key deliverables for this role will be:\nPreparation and delivery of projects to budget, time and quality\nCreating positive working relationships with Design teams, Clients and Contractors\nCoordinating design deliverables and ensuring quality outputs\nDeveloping safe, sustainable and profitable solutions\nYour starting point for constant growth\nFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:\nMinimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering/Project Management or related discipline, however a degree is preferred\nTrack record demonstrating experience of managing the design and construction process - planning, programming, fee management, understanding appointments and scopes of works, change control, understanding the inter-dependencies of the members of design team when programming works\nPreferably a member or an associate member of an appropriate construction focused association or Institute (APM / ICE) etc. If not currently a member of such organisation you will be required to work towards and achieving qualifications with APM within a reasonable agreed timeframe\nKnowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations is desirable, however training will be provided\nExperience of managing commercial processes on projects\nExperience of managing your own workload within a multidisciplinary consultancy\nA basic understanding of procurement methods and contract administration requirements is desirable e.g. NEC, JCT, ACE, ICE, GC Works or FIDIC, however training will be provided as required\nExcellent communication and IT skills are essential to fulfil this position\nAbility to write high quality reports and be able to interrogate financial information\nAbility to confidently and articulately represent Ramboll at client meetings\nPersonal qualities that will help you succeed in this role are:\nYou are a confident communication and listener\nYou have the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements and then communicate these requirements back to the project teams, often across geographical borders \nWelcome to our Buildings division\nAs one of the top 10 building designers in the world, Ramboll works on more than 10,000 building projects each year. 4,000 experts across the world specialise in creating more innovative, sustainable and liveable buildings.
