You will be involved in the design, coordination, and delivery of robust power infrastructure, ensuring reliability, compliance, and operational excellence across the full project lifecycle.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign and specify electrical systems for data centres and buildings, including 132kV and 33kV substations, 415V systems, generators, UPS, and ELV systems.\nPrepare detailed design documentation, calculations, and drawings for statutory and authority submissions.\nParticipate in client, consultant, site, and technical coordination meetings.\nProvide project management support and oversee construction supervision activities.\nReview and evaluate contractors’ technical submissions, including equipment, materials, and drawings.\nConduct site inspections to ensure installations comply with approved designs and standards.\nWitness testing and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.\nCollaborate closely with clients’ project teams and multidisciplinary consultants to ensure coordinated and compliant design delivery.\nCarry out any additional duties as assigned from time to time.\n What We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering accredited and recognised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).\nMust be legally eligible to work in Malaysia.\nMinimum of 2+ years’ relevant working experience with M&E consultancy firms.\nStrong working knowledge of Malaysian codes, standards, and statutory regulations.\nProficient in engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and ETAP simulation software.\nDemonstrated project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.\nPositive, proactive work attitude with strong accountability and initiative.\nAble to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment.\nPassionate about translating design concepts into high-quality built installations and validating performance through testing.\nEnjoys hands-on involvement in site activities, testing, and commissioning works.\nExperience in the data centre industry is highly advantageous.\nCandidates with extensive experience, advanced technical expertise, or additional professional qualifications-such as Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC)-may be considered for a senior or leadership role.\n Does this sound like you?\nApply online and attach your CV, cover letter and any relevant work that showcases what you bring to this role.
