Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project leads, you will develop your technical judgement while preparing calculations, sketches, drawings, design notes and other project deliverables.\nYou will work on a diverse portfolio of Singapore and international projects, including high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, residential, institutional and complex building developments.\nYou will learn through hands-on project work and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across structural engineering, building services, façade, geotechnical, sustainability and digital design, coordinating with architects, BIM teams, specialist consultants and clients.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nAssisting with structural analysis and design for building projects under the guidance of senior engineers and project leads.\nPreparing and checking calculations, sketches, drawings, schedules, design notes and other technical deliverables.\nDeveloping familiarity with structural design models, finite element analysis tools and design software used on live projects.\nCoordinating with BIM modellers, technicians and other disciplines to support coordinated models and drawings.\nSupporting authority submissions, tender submissions and responses to technical queries under supervision.\nParticipating in design reviews, project meetings and interdisciplinary coordination workshops.\nContributing ideas to design optimisation, buildability reviews, digital workflows and practical problem-solving.\nBuilding your professional capability through project experience, feedback, mentoring, technical training and knowledge sharing.\nYour new team\nYou will join Ramboll’s Buildings business in Singapore, Ramboll’s APAC hub, as part of the APAC High-rise & Complex Buildings team.\nWe deliver projects from concept design through detailed design, procurement, construction support and handover, drawing on Ramboll’s global knowledge base and local market experience.\n About you\nFor this role, the following qualifications, interests and early-career experience will help you succeed:\nDegree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline.\nFresh graduate or early-career engineer with up to 3 years’ post-graduate experience.\nStrong interest in building structures, structural behaviour, design for safety, buildability and sustainable engineering.\nRelevant final-year project, thesis, research topic, internship, industrial attachment or work experience related to structural engineering would be advantageous.\nExposure to structural analysis or design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, Robot or similar tools would be beneficial.\nAbility to prepare clear calculations, sketches, notes and design documentation, with guidance where required.\nInterest in BIM-enabled design coordination, digital design, parametric tools, computational design or programming would be an advantage.\nExcellent written and spoken English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.\n Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:\nCuriosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.\nA systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, with attention to detail.\nConfidence asking questions, receiving feedback and developing professionally.\nAbility to work collaboratively across disciplines, cultures and geographies.\nWhat we can offer you\nA supportive environment to help you transition from university into professional engineering practice.\nMentoring, technical guidance and investment in your development.\nLeaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles.\nInspiration from colleagues, clients and projects across Singapore and the wider region.\nRamboll in Asia Pacific\nRamboll has close to 500 experts working across more than 10 offices in Asia Pacific.
