Join our Power Systems department as our new Electrical engineer and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.\nYour new role\nAs our new Electrical Engineer, you will join a team of more than 50 passionate and high performing HV, MV and LV specialists working predominantly within the global Energy industry. We are particularly focused on offshore wind, power-t-X, carbon capture and energy transition projects. We cover all phases of project delivery including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-on engineering on international projects.\nYour key role will be:\nReviewing project documents, gap analysis, and preparing technical reports\nClient and third party management ( civil, substation, crossing, etc)\nCable rating and thermal calculations\nUnderground cable bonding design, jointing arrangement, assessing interface with transition joint bay, substation, and civil works\nUnderground cable rote development and installation strategy (e.g. direct burial, HDD and drilling, crossing design)\nSite visit prior and during installation, commissioning support, cable factory visit and test inspection during cable manufacturing (traveling abroad may require)\nPreparation of inspection and test plan, reviewing and evaluating of the test results, and involving in non-conformalities during manufacturing, installation and commissioning\nYour new team\nYou will be part of the Power Systems department at Ramboll GCC, where we support our clients on due diligence, permitting, compliance (audit), management systems and a wide variety of other EHS projects internationally. We work on challenging projects together with colleagues around the world from our Environmental and Health Division, and with other Ramboll Divisions.\nAbout you\nFrom the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. While we're happy to support you in your continued learning and development, we've identified some qualifications, skills, and competencies for this role that will prepare you for success.\nThese include:\nCompleted university degree in Electrical Engineering\n+2 years’ experience in underground HV cable system route design, civil works and installation, 66KV up to 400KV\nExperience in Cymcap or other cable rating software\nExperience in working with cable related international and local standards\nFluent in English.
