You will combine hands-on case management with opportunities to develop policies, processes and ways of working.\nAt Ramboll, you will contribute to an organisation working to create sustainable change that benefits society and nature, helping us close the gap to a sustainable future.\nBe Part of Our UK People Advisory Team\nYou will primarily support employees and first-line managers in the UK across a broad range of people processes and employee relations matters.\nAs a senior member of the team, you will independently manage employee relations cases, guide colleagues and contribute to the development and implementation of global people initiatives and processes.\nYour key responsibilities will be:\nEmployee relations and manager advice: Advise managers on employment policies, UK employment law and HR processes.\nIndependently manage employee relations cases and advise managers on performance improvement plans, absence, grievances, investigations, involuntary terminations and other matters requiring senior HR support.\nPolicies, compliance and specialist expertise: Develop HR policies and procedures in close collaboration with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners.\nDrive compliance with UK legislation and guide junior colleagues on its application.\nDevelop local expertise in global HR processes or organisational change.\nService improvement, projects and colleague guidance: Contribute to local and global HR projects, supporting the development and implementation of people initiatives and improvements to ways of working.\nGuide and mentor colleagues within the UK People Advisory team, working with local and global HR colleagues to provide a consistent service to employees and managers.\nWhat You Bring\nYou are an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise and a practical approach to supporting managers and employees.\nYou will work collaboratively across local and global HR teams, building effective relationships and helping improve the services we provide.\nEssential experience and capabilities\nExtensive HR experience, including strong experience managing employee relations processes and cases.\nFluent communication in English.\nCommunicate clearly and build effective working relationships with managers and HR colleagues.\nTake ownership of initiatives and processes and drive them forward.\nSolve problems pragmatically and support colleagues where needed.\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and services in response to employee and manager needs.\nWork collaboratively across cultures and in virtual teams.\nVery good knowledge of UK employment law, including workplace-related legal requirements.\nA university degree in a relevant field.\nUseful additional experience\nFamiliarity with modern HR systems, particularly Workday and ServiceNow, is a strong advantage.
