Combining local experience with global knowledge, we together shape the societies of tomorrow.\n Your new role\nAs our new Power Systems Project Manager, Data Center Focus, you will take full ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery for a growing portfolio of data center, mission-critical, and pre-investment infrastructure clients. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget across multi-disciplinary engagements spanning substation design, generation and load interconnection, and early-stage site feasibility, serving as the primary point of contact for clients who often have limited in-house experience navigating energy infrastructure development.\nYou will work closely with our technical leads across substation engineering, protection and control, and interconnection to keep integrated, constructible designs on track, while also representing Ramboll directly with investors, property developers, and economic development agencies evaluating pre-investment opportunities.\nYour key responsibilities will be:\nOwn project plans, schedules, and budgets for data center and mission-critical power engagements, tracking performance against milestones and financial targets and driving corrective action when needed\nServe as the primary client contact for data center developers, investors, property developers, and economic development agencies, translating client objectives into actionable project scope and guiding clients with limited energy-infrastructure experience through the development pathway\nLead multi-disciplinary coordination across substation design, protection and control, civil/structural, power generation, and interconnection disciplines to ensure integrated, constructible project delivery\nManage subconsultants, vendors, and contract administration in support of assigned projects\nSupport early-stage feasibility studies, power availability assessments, and preliminary master planning for pre-investment and greenfield data center site opportunities\nIdentify and manage project risks, developing and tracking mitigation strategies in coordination with technical leads\nLead preparation of proposals, fee estimates, and client presentations, contributing to business development for the data center and mission-critical client segment\nEnsure compliance with Ramboll QA/QC procedures and applicable industry standards throughout project execution\nMentor Assistant Project Managers and early-career staff supporting your projects\nCoordinate with our Interconnection and Substation Engineering teams to ensure client-facing commitments are technically grounded and deliverable\nYour new team\nYou will be part of an elite team of power system engineers and play a pivotal role in delivering advanced solutions for a wide variety of clients, including energy-intensive industries like semiconductor manufacturing, municipal entities, data center mega campuses, and pioneers in renewable energy. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $140,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.
