We provide a broad set of services for enterprise, institutional, web scale, service provider and colocation companies.\nOur team of consultants assist clients in understanding how to bring data closer to their own customers, bringing all components of IT and the facility together, and enable rapid deployment of a solution that achieves critical objectives.\nWe believe we are strongly positioned to create flexible environments that can easily adapt to changes and disruptions -- while eliminating risks and creating efficiencies.\nThis career-growth minded opportunity offers exciting projects with leading-edge technology and innovation.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAct as a commissioning agent of Electrical systems directing and documenting testing on-site.\nElectrical systems including Generators, UPS, PDU, ATS, STS, electrical distribution, EPMS systems in a variety of environments.\nManage projects, plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering Commissioning role for large facility projects.\nReview design criteria, specifications, drawings, equipment submittals, and other documentation pertinent to commissioning.\nThe Commissioning agents adhere to a thorough quality management/QC process and procedures that validate and document our client’s systems.\nIdentify and assemble required documentation, drawings, and data from clients, vendors, and contractors.\nDevelop site-specific commission plans.\nDevelop and/or review factory witness test procedures for major equipment.\nAttend factory witness tests and provide a detailed report identifying deficiencies.\nSchedule and lead commissioning meetings while ensuring proper documentation.\nDevelop and administer functional tests for various building Electrical normal, emergency and critical power systems\nDevelop and maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklist, and other tools to track commissioning projects, write comprehensive final commissioning report.\nComplete documentation in real time using cloud data collection or hard copy forms when required.\nHelp lead and manage any external resources; Schedule and direct periodic commissioning meetings; Attend construction and coordination meetings if required for the project.\nInterface with clients, contractors, equipment vendors and owners’ agents as needed; Execute project assignments; Interface with project contractors, vendors, and testing technicians; interact with all facets of the company: engineering, design, etc.\nSubmit progress reports and commissioning meeting notes to the project and facility manager.\nRespond to customer inquiries in a manner that exceeds the customer’s expectations. \n Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent military or industrial training with 3+ years of experience” in mechanical/controls engineering, energy services, plant operations, or related field or Construction Management.\nPrevious Data Center/Mission critical experience.\nExperience in the commissioning or maintaining of electrical and mechanical systems.\nExperience with working with general contractors and excellent skills in communicating expectations.\nKnowledgeable in major regulations, industry codes and standards as well as basic construction materials, means and methods.\nExperience commissioning in data centers is strongly preferred\n Additional information\nOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $86,000 - $135,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
