Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.\nYou will join our Project Management Team\nAs our new Project Manager, you will be part of our Buildings Division in London, UK, reporting into the project management lead in the office. We work across a variety of projects and sectors from large commercial and residential developments, boutique hotels and high-end retail stores to higher education and science buildings locally, nationally and internationally. The London office team culture is one of inclusion, collaboration and enjoyment, where they warmly welcome new team members into their fold.\nYour key tasks and responsibilities will be:\nSupporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring that scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained through the life of a project.\nSupporting our Multidisciplinary design consultancy team and leading internal coordination meetings.\nEnsuring all internal governance procedures are adhered to.\nRepresenting Ramboll and developing positive and collaborative working relationships with project team, clients and contractors.\nAssume responsibility for the day to day management of all project activities including Monthly Reports, Minutes and Programmes, and delivery of presentations when required.\nEnsuring coordinated and high-quality deliverables from our multidisciplinary teams\nSupport to bid teams and preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders alongside the discipline team leaders.\nYour key deliverables for this role will be:\nSupporting the delivery of projects to budget, time and quality\nCreating positive working relationships with Design teams.\nCoordinating design deliverables and ensuring quality outputs\nDeveloping safe, sustainable and profitable solutions\nYour starting point for constant growth\nFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:\nMinimum HNC/HND in a Building/Civil Engineering/Project Management or related discipline, however a degree is preferred\nTrack record demonstrating experience of the design and construction process\nExperience of managing your own workload within a multidisciplinary consultancy\nA basic understanding of contracts and procurement methods e.g. NEC, JCT, ACE, ICE, GC Works or FIDIC, however this is not essential as training will be provided as required\nExcellent communication and good IT skills are essential to fulfil this position\nAbility to coordinate high quality reports with our technical teams.\nAbility to interrogate financial information.\nKeen to work towards an appropriate construction focused association or Institute (APM) etc.\nKnowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations is desirable, however training will be provided\nPersonal qualities that will help you succeed in this role are:\nYou are a confident communication and listener\nYou have the ability to manage multiple project strands and work within a multidisciplinary team. \nWelcome to our Buildings division\nAs one of the top 10 building designers in the world, Ramboll works on more than 10,000 building projects each year. 4,000 experts across the world specialise in creating more innovative, sustainable and liveable buildings.
