The successful candidate will participate in Battery Energy Storage System projects and hybrid projects combining BESS with photovoltaic and wind power installations.\nThe role combines technical work, collaboration with clients and designers, and client-side support during the construction phase. The successful candidate will receive support from Ramboll specialists and will have the opportunity to gradually take responsibility for selected project workstreams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDelivery of Owner’s Engineer services, Technical Due Diligence and technical advisory assignments for renewable energy investors, including:\nProviding technical support for BESS and hybrid projects incorporating PV and wind power installations.\nSupporting the development of grid connection concepts for renewable energy projects.\nReviewing grid connection conditions, technical requirements and documentation issued by grid operators.\nWorking on MV, HV and EHV infrastructure projects, including substations and cable lines.\nReviewing design documentation, single-line diagrams, technical specifications and contractors’ proposals.\nParticipating in site visits, technical inspections, acceptance procedures, FAT and SAT\nMonitoring the compliance of construction works with design documentation, client requirements and applicable standards.\nCooperating with investors, designers, contractors, equipment suppliers DSOs and the TSO.\nIdentifying technical and grid connection risks and preparing recommendations for the project team.\nPreparing reports, technical schedules, summaries and other project documentation in Polish and/or English.\nRequirements\nA university degree in a relevant technical discipline, preferably Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field.\nAt least three years of experience in power infrastructure or energy projects.\nBasic knowledge of the grid connection process for power generation and energy storage facilities, including cooperation with power system operators.\nExperience in the renewable energy sector, for example in PV, wind power or BESS projects.\nKnowledge of MV, HV and/or EHV electrical installations and infrastructure.\nStrong organisational skills, ability to work independently and effective cooperation within multidisciplinary teams.\nWorking proficiency in English, enabling the candidate to work with technical documentation and participate in project meetings.\nPreferred Qualifications and Experience\nConstruction site experience involving supervision, inspections, acceptance procedures, commissioning or the delivery of power infrastructure.\nKnowledge of the process for obtaining grid connection conditions and implementing grid connection agreements.\nExperience working with PSE or DSOs\nExperience in the delivery of Owner’s Engineer, Technical Due Diligence or technical advisory assignments.\nExperience in project management, schedule management and work coordination.\nFamiliarity with software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory or similar engineering tools.\nWhat We Offer\nTechnical guidance and mentoring from Ramboll’s senior specialists and experts.\nParticipation in major PV, BESS, wind power and infrastructure projects.\nExposure to the entire project lifecycle, from development through construction and commissioning.\nWork within international, multidisciplinary project teams.\nA gradual increase in project ownership, autonomy and responsibility.\nCareer development opportunities towards a technical expert, Grid Connection Specialist or Project Manager role.\nOpportunities to participate in industry training and obtain additional professional qualifications.\nWork at the heart of sustainable change\nRamboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company.
