As a member of the Water team, you will be responsible for carrying out the design for wet utility networks such as storm water, wastewater, potable water, irrigation water, and firefighting water.\nThe role involves preparing engineering designs, calculations, drawings, models, and technical documentation for systems such as potable water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and firefighting water networks. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables. You will be also doing stormwater management using SUDS, providing green and nature-based solutions.\nKey Tasks and Responsibilities:\nPrepare designs for wet utility networks, including potable water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, irrigation, firefighting, and recycled water systems.\nCarry out engineering calculations for pipe sizing, flow assessment, pressure checks, hydraulic gradients, pumping requirements, and network capacity.\nDevelop concept, preliminary, detailed, and tender design drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.\nPrepare design reports, technical notes, calculations, specifications, schedules, and design documentation.\nSupport hydraulic modelling and analysis for water supply, sewerage, and stormwater systems using appropriate software tools.\nCoordinate wet utility layouts with roads, dry utilities, landscape, structures, buildings, and other engineering disciplines.\nIdentify and help resolve utility clashes, interface issues, and design constraints.\nPrepare longitudinal sections, utility corridors, manhole schedules, pipe schedules, and connection details.\nEnsure designs are prepared in accordance with applicable local authority requirements, project specifications, and relevant international standards.\nAssist in preparing submissions to authorities and responding to review comments.\nSupport principal engineers/technical leads in client, authority, and stakeholder coordination meetings.\nReview drawings and models prepared by CAD/BIM technicians for technical accuracy and completeness.\nAssist with site-related technical queries, RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and as-built documentation when required.\nContribute to quality assurance processes, interdisciplinary design reviews, and value engineering exercises.\nMentor and support junior engineers, graduates, and technicians where appropriate.\n For this role, we believe your starting point is,\nBE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institute. ME/ M. Tech in Environmental/Water resource would be key deciding factor.\nShould have at least 5 years of experience in drainage design and sewer design specially in the UK market.\nKnowledge of design codes like BC codes, DMRB, ASCE, EPA, Euro Codes/CIRIA/ & Indian codes are desirable.\nShould have knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for large residential developments, road, airport, and rail environment. Experience in big infrastructure projects is desirable.\nShould have hands on experience in using of the drainage design & modelling software like, Infodrianage/ microdrainage, ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D.\nIn addition to the technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills.\nShould be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project.\nDesirable Professional English language skills (written and verbal).\n Ready to join us?\nPlease submit your application.
