Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.\nAs a Lead Member of Technical Staff Logic Design Engineer, the candidate will be reporting to the Director of R&D Silicon IP and is a Full-Time position.\nThe Lead Member of Technical Staff Logic Design Engineer has an in-depth knowledge of embedded hardware development & tools, cryptography, security protocols and security implementations.\nRambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and implementation of complex secure silicon IP’s\nPlanning: lead other digital designers, manage projects, estimate cost (effort)\nArchitecture: Design block specification, documentation, have/encourage innovative ideas/patents for current and future products\nImplementation: RTL design, lint, clock domain crossing (CDC) analysis, synthesis, IP release\nVerification: work with verification team on planning and execution, simulation, debugging simulations, formal verification, preparation of technical reviews and product documentation\nFlow and methodology: work in a dynamic and interdisciplinary R&D group that influences and guides Rambus’ technical direction by understanding and contributing to flow and methodology development\nInteract with technical leaders of the company and senior staff in engineering, product management, sales and FAE’s to help ensure successful development of high value products\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nBS or MS degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science or comparable level\nEight or more years of experience in the security or chip industry in relevant engineering positions at R&D centers or system laboratories\nIn depth knowledge of SoC, Silicon IP and/or FPGA logic design flows\nIn depth knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and scripting languages\nStrong written and verbal communication skills: Ability to explain complex concepts in front of technical audience\nGood documentation skills, both in text and drawings\nBeneficial Experience\nFamiliarity with IP integration, IP core delivery, and handoff issues\nAbility to work with technical writers in the production of technical documentation\nIn depth knowledge of cryptography, security protocols and security implementations\nKnowledge of PCIe IDE standard\nPersonal Attributes\nExcellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills\nAble and willing to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nSelf-motivated, hands-on mentality\nA demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks so as to achieve goals in an innovative, fast-paced, and often high-pressure environment\nAbout Rambus\nRambus is a global company that makes industry-leading memory interface chips and Silicon IP to advance data center connectivity and solve the bottleneck between memory and processing.
