In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer.\nAs an intern, you’ll play a pivotal role in post-quantum cryptography research. In this role, you’ll report directly to our Director of Systems Architecture. Our Certification Team also handles architecture research, and your contributions will be instrumental for our post-quantum cryptography solutions.\nRambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.\nResponsibilities\nMathematical research on post-quantum algorithms: likely concentration on HQC-KEM, Falcon signatures, NTRU or NTRU Prime, or “MPC in the head”.\nSoftware prototyping and hardware / software codesign\nQualifications\nThis role is designed for a college undergraduate or graduate student intern. We do not have a single hard requirement, as the project can be tailored to the intern, but relevant skills include:\nMathematical skills in abstract algebra, numerical analysis, probability and statistics\nFamiliarity with relevant programming tools (Python, SAGE, C/C++)\nFamiliarity with post-quantum cryptography\nFamiliarity with profiling and optimization techniques\nFamiliarity with hardware design, embedded systems programming, and/or hardware/software codesign\nAbout Rambus\nRambus is a global company that makes industry-leading memory interface chips and Silicon IP to advance data center connectivity and solve the bottleneck between memory and processing.
