Full-time role in Nairobi.\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe role of Warehouse Manager is both challenging and rewarding. The successful candidate needs to be flexible, organized and capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment and operate with the upmost integrity\n\nThe successful candidate’s role will ensure efficient receipt, storage, handling of raw materials. He /she will also safeguard inventory accuracy, maintain optimal stock levels to ensure uninterrupted production, and lead warehouse operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.\n\nMain Responsibilities\n\nImplement FIFO/FEFO and proper handling of all raw material and consumables\n\nMonitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment to prevent production downtime.\n\nManage rejection procedures for damaged or non-conforming materials for both Paper and Consumables stores.\n\nOversee reel handling equipments’ like clamp trucks and forklifts to prevent paper damage.\n\nSupervise both Paper and Consumables Warehouse team members\n\nIdentify bottlenecks and lead warehouse improvement initiatives.\n\nReduce waste, damage, and lead times through process optimization.\n\nEnsure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards and company policies.\n\nMonitor and control warehouse costs, identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.\n\nKey Performance Indicators\n\nInventory Accuracy – Maintain a minimum of 98% inventory accuracy 9 (e.g. Tracking, stock levels)\n\nOrder Fulfilment Rate – Achieve a minimum of 95% order fulfilment rate (e.g. orders shipped on time, complete and accurate).\n\nWarehouse productivity – Maintain a minimum of 85% warehouse productivity (e.g. orders processed per hour, labour efficiency).\n\nCosts Savings – Achieve annual cost savings of 5% through process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.\n\nWarehouse Utilization – Optimize warehouse space utilization to achieve a minimum of 85% capacity usage.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Management, or equivalent. A professional certification for this role will be an added advantage.\n\nProven experience of 4 – 5 years’ in warehouse management with handling paper reels and strong knowledge of Kraft paper storage standards and FIFO/FEFO practices.\n\nFamiliarity with inventory management and control procedures.\n\nProficiency with ERP systems.
