We focus our solutions on mobility-related projects that serve the needs of our communities within the municipal, transit, transportation, airport, and port sectors.\nWith a staff of diversified, licensed professionals, our philosophy stems from the idea that successful project execution starts with people.\nWe are seeking a Contract Administrator to support contract administration and procurement within the Project Controls group of the Construction Management Consultant (CMC) team on a light rail extension program's trackwork and systems construction contract. The Contract Administrator supports the Authority and the Resident Engineer in administering a contract, including procurement-phase support, contract compliance, and maintaining complete and audit-ready contract files, in accordance with federal and state requirements and Authority policies and procedures.\nResponsibilities\nSupports the Authority in developing and managing procurement processes, including procurement schedules, advertisement, pre-submittal meetings, site visits, evaluation, selection, negotiation, award, and contract execution.\nSupports development of contract special conditions, specifications, and procurement documents.\nReviews contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions for compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and Authority policies.\nSupports responsiveness and responsibility reviews of proposals and bids.\nSupports cost and price analysis and contract negotiations.\nMonitors contractor compliance with contract terms, insurance and bonding requirements, and reporting obligations.\nCoordinates with the Change Order Manager to ensure changes and amendments are properly documented and executed.\nCoordinates with labor compliance and economic development staff on contractor compliance reporting.\nEnsures contract files contain all essential documentation and are accurate and complete for audit purposes.\nPrepares contract correspondence and supports the Resident Engineer with contract administration tasks.\nSupports contract closeout documentation.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nApproximately 5+ years of contract administration or procurement experience, preferably on publicly funded construction contracts.\nFederal contracting experience, including familiarity with FTA requirements, preferred.\nCertification such as CPCM, CFCM, CCCM, CCMA, CPPO, CPPB, or NIGP-CPP preferred.\nFamiliarity with GC/CM or alternative delivery procurement preferred.\nMust be able to work on-site in Seattle.\nAbility to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.\nCompensation: $90,000 to $160,000 per year (depending on qualifications)\nWhat We Offer\nRamos Consulting Services, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, offers competitive benefits that support our employees in their life and career.
