We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.\nThe problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.\nWe hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.\nThe median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year - far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.\nIf you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an IT Site Specialist to join our IT Team at Ramp based in our San Francisco office! This is a temporary full-time on-site role that blends hands-on, in-person site support with ownership of our core SaaS application stack, and we weigh both sides equally. On the site side, you’ll be the primary IT presence in SF - owning deskside support, onboarding/offboarding, endpoint and AV support, and office inventory. On the application side, you’ll administer the tools the whole company depends on - Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and a growing set of SaaS platforms - owning provisioning, access, portfolio, renewals, integrations, and automation. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in running a smooth on-the-ground operation while also thinking like a systems owner who scales IT through automation and sound identity practices.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide in-person support at our San Francisco office 5 days/week, acting as the site’s primary IT point of contact.\n\nPerform IT Support Specialist (L4) duties, encompassing all responsibilities of the IT Support Specialist role.\n\nProvide deskside/walk-up support and resolve IT tickets end-to-end.\n\nHandle advanced troubleshooting and internal escalation before handoff to Pod 2 - IT Engineering.\n\nTriage and field support requests across tickets, email, Slack, and the team-it-ops and help-it distros; proactively work to minimize volume and improve SLAs.\n\nDirect and review Serval (AI support agent) workflow runs - step in when automated resolution fails, and contribute workflow builds and guidance improvements.\n\nCoordinate application onboarding/offboarding tied to lifecycle events (joiner/mover/leaver) - provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes across the SaaS stack.\n\nAdminister core applications (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and other SaaS tools): user lifecycle, group/role management, and SSO/SCIM integrations.\n\nOwn application portfolio management - seat counts, usage tracking, and license optimization.\n\nManage SaaS renewals - tracking contract dates and coordinating renewals/cancellations.\n\nPartner with Pod 3 on SaaS App Strategy execution from an operational/usage standpoint.\n\nBuild and maintain integrations and automations to reduce manual work and enforce least-privilege access.\n\nManage on-site hardware inventory, lifecycle, and procurement coordination - stock levels, reorder requests, and coordinating with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW, Amazon).\n\nSupport AV/conference room reliability in the SF office.\n\nTake ownership of small and large projects, partnering with internal and external teams to deliver.\n\nPerform recurring audits on application licenses, access, and hardware; drive remediation.\n\nCreate technical and user-facing documentation; push the team toward industry best practices.\n\nBe an advocate for our users - understand their challenges and remove blockers with empathy.\n\nWhat You Need\nMinimum 4 years of technical experience in an enterprise-size organization, with hands-on experience in both on-site IT support and SaaS/application administration.\n\nStrong knowledge of our core tech stack: Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, and modern SaaS tools.\n\nSolid understanding of User Lifecycle Management, identity/access management, and least-privilege principles.\n\nExperience with SSO/SCIM provisioning and building integrations or automations across SaaS platforms.\n\nExperience managing SaaS application portfolios, license optimization, and vendor renewals.\n\nExperience with deskside support, ticket resolution, and knowing when to escalate to an engineering team.\n\nComfort owning the physical site experience - endpoint troubleshooting, AV, and inventory - alongside back-end application administration.\n\nStrong attention to detail, execution-oriented, and comfortable owning ambiguous, cross-functional work.\n\nNice-to-Haves\nExperience in high-growth startups.\n\nExperience managing macOS/Windows in hybrid/remote environments.\n\nScripting/automation experience (e.g., Python, API integrations, workflow tools).\n\nExperience with AI-assisted support tooling and workflow automation (e.g., Serval or similar).\n\nExperience coordinating hardware procurement with fulfillment vendors (e.g., Firstbase, SHI, CDW).\n\nOkta Certified Professional / Administrator.\n\nSlack Certified Admin.\n\nGoogle Workspace Administrator experience.\n\nBenefits available to all full-time Ramp employees (Global)\nFlexible PTO\n\nCentralized home-office equipment ordering\n\nHealth and wellness stipend\n\nBudget for intra-office travel\n\nWeekly coffee stipend\n\nUnited States\n100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you, with partial coverage for dependents\n\nOne Medical annual
