This role will provide critical systems and infrastructure support to our customer at Redstone Arsenal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networks, computer systems, and system administration. A high level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills are required for this role. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI.\nEmployment for this position is contingent upon customer acceptance and successful security crossover. Final selection, start date, and offer of employment are subject to contract terms and client approval.\nRequired Skills\nPerform day-to-day operations, configuration, installation, system administration of computer systems running Windows and Linux operating systems and containers\nOptimize software for efficient system operation\nAbility to remotely install software packages and applications\nPerform security updates, non-disruptive patch management, anti-virus management, event log management\nDesign, build, install, configure and perform daily operations managing a virtual environment running virtual desktops and servers in both a local and enterprise environment\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams\nDesired Skills\nExperience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes\nExperience working as a Linux or Windows System Administrator\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or related field and five (5) years of relevant experience.\nFive (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree\nCertifications and Credentials\nActive TS/SCI with current (within last 5 years) CI Poly required\n*All duties and responsibilities are not captured in this job description.
