This role supports a dynamic environment that integrates closely with the broader enterprise. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, upgrading, and evolving platforms and applications, along with support to related infrastructure. You will also act as a technical advisor and liaison to leadership and project teams, helping bridge the gap between technical requirements gathering and project execution. Strong communication skills - both verbal and written - are essential for effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nEmployment for this position is contingent upon customer acceptance and successful security crossover. Final selection, start date, and offer of employment are subject to contract terms and client approval. \nRequired Skills \nAssist and support operations and system management\nExperience with data center and telecom infrastructure\nExperience supporting daily operations and incident response, including backup and recovery support\nExperience tracking and maintaining inventory of IT supplies\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment \nAbility to clearly communicate business and technical needs to both technical and non-technical audiences \nStrong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and actionable documentation, including recommendations, technical assessments, and test plans \nA self-starter with a proactive, strategic mindset \nDemonstrates professionalism, patience, and diplomacy in interactions with colleagues, customers, and partners \nDesired Skills \nExperience as part of a team translating customer technical design requirements into deliverables \nKnowledge of Information Assurance (IA) principles and organizational confidentiality requirements \nGeneral understanding of IP networking, including switching, subnets, and VLANs \nHands-on experience and knowledge of hardware infrastructure, including servers, blade chassis, fiber channel, and SANs \n Education and Experience \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a technical discipline is desired, with two (2) years of relevant experience \nFive (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree \n Certifications and Credentials \nActive Q clearance required (TS/SCI accepted) \n *All duties and responsibilities are not captured in this job description. Final compensation will be based on factors such as role scope, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, customer needs, contract requirements, and business considerations.
